The hotel is located just a short stroll down the hill to the beach and port. The reception is beautiful and the service at check in was exceptional. The room on the top floor had sensational views out to the beach beyond and through the trees. At was peaceful to sit out there both in the evening and the morning. The rooms are a little dated as other reviewers say but they are very clean and have everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom is tiny in the basic double and the shower was not the best. The rooms could do with refurbishing in line with the rest of the hotel which is modern and decorated beautifully. We opted for half board and were disappointed with the vegan options available on the buffet dinner. The chefs were very helpful in assisting us with our requirements. All we could have was rice, chips and salad. Not the greatest variety of options for vegans. The waiting staff were not great which did affect our dining experience a little. Overall the hotel is beautiful, the staff (except the waiting staff) are exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Wow, where to begin. My husband and I brought our 3 year old to Mallorca after moving half way across the world. It was our first break from craziness in a year, and we were lured by the direct flight from our city to visit Mallorca for a week after Christmas. I found the Elba Sunset after doing a bit of research on where to stay on the island. First, and most importantly, I want to say an immeasurable thank you to the entire staff of the Elba. When I say, I could not have imagined how relaxing, joyful, kind, thoughtful, and generous the staff of this establishment could be, I mean it. They are all truly, truly amazing. (Apologies in advance if names are spelled incorrectly!).I specifically want to thank Marta, Elise, Adrian, Christiane, Henry, Paula, Pedro, the whole cleaning staff, and truly every person I encountered there, for making this vacation, one we really desperately needed, so wonderful. Our son Hugo was embraced and coddled by everyone he met, and was completely accepted and showered with love wherever we went in the hotel. Speaking of the hotel. We were there in the off season, and I cannot recommend it enough. The stunning location, the sun, the bright spacious room with a beautiful sea view, the pool (albeit freezing...not that my husband and son cared!), the spa, and the restaurant overlooking the water. 100 out of 10 for the people who make the Elba Sunset the magical place that it is. Much love xx
I had an amazing stay at the hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Marian, one of the staff members. She was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Not only did she take the time to give us a detailed introduction to all the hotel facilities—from the gym and pool to the restaurant and breakfast area—but she also shared great tips about the hotel's location, pointing out nearby attractions and convenient transportation options, which really helped us plan our days.
What made the experience even more special was that one of our group members was celebrating their birthday that day. When Marian found out, she went out of her way to make it memorable. Even after her shift ended, she came back to our room with a bottle of champagne and a heartfelt birthday wish. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly valued and cared for.
Marian's enthusiasm and dedication are truly commendable. She turned a great stay into an unforgettable one, and we can't thank her enough. If you stay at this hotel, you're lucky to have someone like her on the team!

TTraveler 123If you're looking for a luxurious and unique getaway in Palma de Mallorca, look no further than Can Bordoy Hotel. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem that will captivate you from the moment you step through its doors.
One of the first things that struck me about Can Bordoy Hotel was its exquisite design. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century mansion, and the attention to detail is simply breathtaking. From the carefully curated art pieces to the ornate furnishings, every corner of the hotel is a visual treat.
The rooms at Can Bordoy Hotel are equally impressive. Each one is individually designed with its own distinct character, blending modern amenities with historic charm. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-appointed with luxurious toiletries. I especially loved the unique features such as exposed wooden beams and original stone walls that added a sense of authenticity to the experience.
The service at Can Bordoy Hotel is top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. From arranging restaurant reservations to providing insider tips on the best places to visit in Palma de Mallorca, the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable.
One of the highlights of my stay at Can Bordoy Hotel was the stunning courtyard. This hidden oasis is a tranquil retreat from the bustling city, with lush greenery, comfortable seating, and a beautiful swimming pool. It's the perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy a glass of wine, or simply take in the peaceful ambiance.
Another standout feature of Can Bordoy Hotel is its gastronomic offerings. The hotel's restaurant, Botànic, offers a culinary journey that showcases the best of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, and the wine selection is extensive. I also loved the breakfast, which featured a delightful spread of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties.
The location of Can Bordoy Hotel is also a major plus. It's situated in Palma de Mallorca's historic Old Town, just a short walk from iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.
Overall, my experience at Can Bordoy Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its historic charm, impeccable service, outstanding gastronomy, and prime location made it a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and indulgent experience in Palma de Mallorca. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at Can Bordoy Hotel.
SSmurki0oExceptional Business Stay at PortBlue Pollentia – A Perfect Balance of Productivity and Relaxation
I recently had the pleasure of staying at PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa in Alcudia for a business trip, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, relaxing, and incredibly well-suited to balancing work and well-being.
Facilities & Comfort:
The resort offers a unique blend of tranquility and professional amenities. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with a comfortable desk space and fast, reliable Wi-Fi – essential for any working traveler. The ambiance was quiet and calming, perfect for focused work sessions between meetings or calls.
Meeting & Work Spaces:
Although I didn’t host formal meetings, the resort offers excellent quiet zones and informal seating areas where I could take video calls and work without distraction. The staff was also more than accommodating in helping me find suitable spots to work comfortably.
Dining & Service:
The buffet and à la carte dining options were impressive, offering healthy and diverse choices to keep me energized throughout the day. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile – whether it was arranging early breakfast or helping with printing documents.
Wellness & Location:
After long working hours, the resort’s spa, gym, and pool facilities were an absolute highlight. Being able to unwind with a swim or a sauna session made a huge difference in managing stress during the trip. The location, set between the bay and natural park, added an extra level of peace and beauty.
Overall:
PortBlue Pollentia isn’t just a leisure destination – it’s also an ideal base for business travelers seeking comfort, efficiency, and a touch of luxury. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for either work or leisure and highly recommend it to professionals looking for a productive yet restorative environment in Mallorca.
ผผู้เข้าพักCama comodísima y almohadas de 10.
