TTony HongWhat a great hotel to stay in! The place is hygienic and lies right in the middle of the village and is right next door to the Jinsha cable car. The public terrace in the morning offers a wonderful view of the Sanqingshan. There are plenty of food options available nearby. Literally less than a minutes walk and there are some fine eateries. Service was impeccable. The individuals at the front desk including the manager were extremely polite, professional and kind. I should mention that the room I originally booked had only a skylight for a window which I was fine with. But later I decided to happily pay for an upgrade for windows. I went to the front desk and told this to the two individuals working, the manager included (see photo) and we were delightfully told that we were to be given a free upgrade to a Standard Twin Bedroom which has big windows. I can only assume it’s because the staff and manager are kind and there were not that many guests staying in the hotel at that time. Regardless, I highly recommend the place.

LLeesa DaviesWe liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

VVictoria93We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

What truly made my trip special was Liqun’s service—she noticed I was going hiking and kindly gave me a walking stick. Great breakfast, top-notch facilities. Can’t recommend it enough!
