Singapore Cenotaph Review

The memorial, about 20 meters high, is situated near the Coastal Art Center, facing the Old Parliament Building. It was built to commemorate 124 Singaporeans who died in World War I. The memorial to the victims of World War II (1939-1945) was later inscribed on the back. It was inscribed in four languages (English, Malay, Chinese, Tamil) - "Their sacrifices have saved our lives. After we left the mangrove forest, we returned to the original place where we got off and took 925 to the Cranzie War Monument (not direct, about 800 meters away, look at the electronic map). The monument stands in the Binhai Bay Binhai Park. It looks very solemn. It was built to commemorate the people who died in the First World War and the Second World War. It is a typical human attraction and worth visiting.
