The Ninth Fortress is to commemorate the civilians imprisoned and killed by the Nazis during World War II. It was once a Nazi death camp, 7 kilometers away from the city of Konas, and it can be reached by car or bus.

The Ninth Fortress is the landmark of Konas County. He traveled northwest from the Cathedral of the Resurrection to the West in the northwest corner of the old city. It was an important fortress built by the Nazis during World War II and a large concentration camp. He felt as if he could feel the cruelty of the war and how hard peace was to come by.
