Nelson's Column Review

纳尔逊纪念柱在特拉法加广场中间，纳尔逊上将在一八零五年的特拉法尔加战役中死去，纳尔逊纪念柱有五十多米高，广场一侧是国家美术馆和白金汉宫。

纳尔逊纪念柱耸立在特拉法加广场中央，这里也是来伦敦必看的景点之一。今年住非常的高大雄伟，四周雕刻的黑色铜狮非常的威武，整个纪念柱即精美雄伟又庄严肃穆。

Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square is surrounded by wonderful places to visit. The National Gallery; a walk west down Whitehall will take you to Horse Guards Parade, then by No. 10 Downing Street, ending up in Parliament Square. East on foot will take you to Piccadilly, Soho etc. Trafalgar Square is the point from which all distances are measured in the UK so it truly is the heart of the country.

Nelson's Column is a monument located in Trafalgar Square commemorating Admiral Nelson. It was built in mid 19th century. The column itself is made out of granite whilst the statue on top of it is bronze.

Trafalgar Square is one of my earliest memories of London when we would visit as a kid.

Nelson's column was erected to commemorate Lord Nelson's victory over Napolean Bonaparte at the battle of Trafalgar. The column stands in the midst of the Trafalgar square.

A great statue that is quite unmissable if you visit London, as it is buried in the very heart of the city. A perfect photo opportunity.
