Moon stone and Gem Palace Review

Living in Hikaduwa, I happened to see Ctrip have this place, and his wife went by taxi, 500 rupees. When we arrived, an uncle received it in English. The sapphires were all white stones and blue could be seen from different angles. My wife bought a small gemstone to go home as a pendant. It cost 70 dollars. I gave it 20, and the last 30 were traded. There was a lot of impurities, which I regretted a little.

Moonstone is a kind of high quality gemstone produced in Sri Lanka. It is very difficult to mine the deep underground gemstones. This shows the whole process of gemstones from mining to screening to polishing and selling. The gemstones here are at least 30 (%) cheaper than those in Colombo or in China, which is very cost-effective.

This is a mine that has been mined since the 18th century, the Moonstone Mine. Meetiyagoda village, 7 kilometres from Heikaduwa. The original stones are mined here and polished before being sold. Tourists can get close and all-round contact with the production process of this kind of moonstone, or a more valuable tour.

On the way back to Colombo, the children were deeply educated in popular English. They visited Sri Lanka's unique Moonstone mine to learn about its mining and production process.

I believe that Moonstone has been heard by all of us for a long time. It's amazing to see the production process this time. Although it has been mined since the 18th century, it has been playing a role now. Friends interested in the whole production process might as well come and see it.
