The Church of the Holy Spirit is a Catholic Church in its own parish and one of the oldest churches in Munich. In 1208, Ludwig I established the Holy Spirit Relief Home, with the Roman-style Chapel of the Virgin Gallina, adjacent to the Bell Tower of the Old City Hall. The Church of the Holy Spirit, also known as the Church of the Holy Spirit, is a Baroque style building. The beautiful steeple of the church is its highlight.
