Mount Kawi is an ancient imperial mausoleum, built in the 11th century AD. It is a world cultural heritage of Bali. If time is enough, it is worth visiting. The chartered train returned from the Beijing-Damani volcano and came in time. It is very close to Shengquan Temple and can be visited together. The mausoleum is situated in a canyon in Tampasilin, north of Ubud. From the entrance to the tomb, you should go down the stone steps path.
