Daegu Jeil Church Review

If we leave Yaoling City and come to the alley with the Catholic Church Hall, we can see the most beautiful old First Church among the Christian buildings in Daegu City. After the Old First Church and heading for the alley in the direction of Xishanyuan Street, Xu Xiangrun, the initiator of the National Debt Compensation Movement, and the former residence of Li Xianghe, the revolutionary poet, can be seen in the high-rise residential buildings. Coming out of the alley, you can enter the Gothic architecture of the Church of Streams and Hills. Through the church from the main door, across the road, on the hill there is a magnificent First Church of Daqiu. The road to the top of the hill is the memorial of Daqiu historic resort "3.1 Movement". When the "3.1 Movement" broke out in 1919, more than 1000 students came to the Siemens market to shout "Long Live Independence" through the road on the hill. The Missionary Museum, the Medical Museum and the Educational History Museum of Daqiu City are all designated as the tangible cultural heritage of Daqiu City after crossing 90 steps.
