Free sunny days are too beautiful. The park is full of sunbathers and different cemetery atmosphere. Who says that the cemetery should be solemn and heavy? The dead and the living will be happy in the spring.

Andersen's tomb is in the cemetery of Beiqiao District. Foreigners are not quite resistant to the concept of cemetery. Open-air tombstones are full of cherry trees and other green trees. Flowers in spring and summer are beautiful and peaceful. Andersen's cemetery is not big. Every day, some people come to see the master of fairy tales. From time to time, runners pass by. For them, it's just a beautiful sports venue.

Niels Bohr

This cemetery is much more like a beautiful, beautiful park. The old gate open to the loveliest walking path, bordered on either side by the prettiest and tallest trees. The philosopher Søren Kierkegaard is buried here, as is the fairy tale author, Hans Christian Andersen. A stroll through Assistens Kirkegaard makes for a very pleasant morning or afternoon, and is frankly, quite picture perfect.

A little magical oasis in Copenhagen. Not only can you see graves of famous danes such as Hans Christian Andersen. It is also widely acceptable to use the beautiful cemetery as a recreational park. You will therefore see people jogging, tanning, picknicking or even enjoying a cold beer.

An absolutely beautiful cemetery in the middle of Nørrebro. Hanging out in a cemetery might seem a bit morbid, but it's actually one of the most popular places to sit in the summer due to the beautiful, private natural spaces inside. It's one of the few relatively bike-free places in the city, and so your contact with other people seems a bit more face-to-face (I've been offered a free beer here several times!).
