Great accommodation with fantastic facilities. They do not provide towels. The kitchen doesn't have utensils, pans, pots, etc. You need to bring your own.

Probably the best place for families especially if you are travelling with kids. Beds are big enough for 2a2c easily. Parking is free and very convenient. (If full, I see folks just park by the road). Location very close to all activities you need (Kaikoura is small town). Breakfast isn’t buffet style but it’s definitely going to beat your expectation. Definitely recommend this place

I really enjoyed staying at Dusky Lodge. Friendly staff , cosy room , nice communal areas and the bonus of a spa pool . Excellent value.

I had a fantastic stay at Christchurch Tasman Holiday Park! The location is perfect — close enough to the city for convenience, yet peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and spacious, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. The facilities are excellent, with modern amenities including clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, and comfortable communal areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the variety of accommodation options available, from powered sites to cozy cabins. Highly recommend this holiday park for anyone visiting Christchurch

The hotel is fairly centrally located (about a 15 minute walk), but at the same time in a quiet area. The room was huge, for lack of a better term - it's basically a lounge, a twin room and a double room. Not sure if that's actually the room I booked or an upgrade. At any rate, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The outer design is also very nice. There's also afternoon tea for free from 15:30 till 16:30. The price is not particularly low, but all things considered it's value for money (only 25-30% more expensive than a private room in a hostel), especially if more than one person is staying. All in all, a great option, if your budget allows it.

การตกแต่งห้องใหม่มาก มีบังกะโลแถวทางเข้า และหันหน้าไปทางสวนเล็กๆ เป็นอาคารสองชั้น เตียงนอนสบายมาก เป็นโมเต็ลที่ดีที่สุดที่เราเคยพักมา ข้อเสียอย่างเดียวคือมีกลิ่นแปลกๆ ในห้อง ไม่ใช่แค่กลิ่นการตกแต่งหรืออะไรซักอย่าง เกือบหายใจไม่ออกตอนเข้าห้องน้ําตอนกลางคืน ขอแนะนําให้เจ้าของบ้านระบายอากาศและดับกลิ่นมากขึ้น ตรงข้ามคือ Ashburton Domain Park สนามเด็กเล่นขนาดใหญ่ เด็กๆ ชอบมาก ห้างสรรพสินค้า kmart, new world, countdown supermarket อยู่ใกล้กันมาก
