Kenegie Manor is a 500 year old Grade II listed Manor House which has been sympathetically restored and converted into a number of individual apartments. Set in 11 acres, guests benefit from the use of the Manor's TENNIS COURTS, INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL, SAUNA, HOT TUB, CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA, CAFE, PITCH AND PUTT GOLF COURSE and RESTAURANT / BAR.Kenegie Manor is situated in private grounds near the village of Gulval, within WALKING DISTANCE OF THE BEACH and Penzance and is 5 miles from St Ives. The surrounding grounds have spectacular views of Penzance and the very popular fairy-tale island of St. Michaels Mount.The NEWLY RESTORED first floor apartment has views over the quiet courtyard and it has an abundance of character - with high ceilings and striking features such as the large 3 metre high sash windows. The apartment is reached via a gravel pathway from the ample parking area leading through to the private Manor courtyard. The apartment boasts a King Size bed in the master bedroom and Handmade Wooden Furniture in the dining area and lounge.Inside and from the lobby, the large lounge is equipped with free Wifi, a Wide Screen Smart TV, leather furniture and a Sofa Bed allowing the property to accommodate up to 6 people, (maximum of 4 adults as sofa bed is really only suitable for children). Lost in the beautiful Cornish countryside, this space is for people who want to escape and unwind.The area and space are incredibly unique, set back from the sand dunes of Perran Sands in a little pocket of tranquility and stillness.This charming period house with a stunning natural pool is set in a spacious valley, hidden down a windy country lane where you will find the house set just off the lane. Directions and a pinned location will be provided to help you not miss us! The property has been renovated in places but still has features from the original 1840's old stone cottage that it once was, this can be seen in the kitchen and bedrooms. The spacious lounge has a large fireplace with comfy sofas to lounge in. There’s a large round dining table for those evening meals. Upstairs the ensuite master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the pool & courtyard. The wing at the opposite end has two gorgeous high beam bedrooms with an ensuite. In the courtyard you will find a fire pit and a coal bbq perfect for those long summer nights to gaze up at the stars! We also have a ping pong table for those who like to play. Enjoy the natural swimming pool with water lilies and dragon flies. The secluded and spacious property is in a rural location on the north coast of Cornwall located between Holywell & Perranporth with Newquay & Truro a short drive away with all the amenities.
