Nice to stay in the historic hotel. As such, the room showed it's age which is not necessarily bad. It had a charm and warmness not found in most modern hotel rooms. The full breakfast was definitely the highlight. It was not advertised as such on the booking site but should be. I was a bit disappointed that the internet was not password protected. I was reluctant to leave my computer on too long for fear of hacking.
Hotel is centrally located which is all it has going for it. It’s old and in desperate need of some updates. The pool seemed murky, tiles were broken around the pool, sauna didn’t work in either change room. The worst part was that one of the beds on our room smelled like urine. We called the front desk but couldn’t be moved as the hotel was booked. They brought fresh sheets and sprayed the bed, but you could still smell it. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. For the price you’d be better off staying somewhere else. We stayed in motels that were cleaner than this room.
Hotel is located close to everything, but is in an area under constriction for the last 3 years. Hotel is clean, but dated. No fans it the washroom, so a hot shower leaves everything damp. Premium price for average rooms. 3rd stay there, likely the last.
ผผู้เข้าพักLove Future Inn in Halifax. Have stayed there many times and it never disappoints. Location is fantastic. Service is always great. Redwood restaurant is good food at reasonable price.
Only thing I would say it’s missing, and this is for when I travel with family, is a pool. But that is just nitpicking!
ผผู้เข้าพักGreat location, friendly staff, and great view, but when you book through a third party, they will hold your money until checkout. Also, watch out—they might mistakenly charge your own card instead of the third party’s virtual card.
