Totally in love with this hostel, breakfast is buffet style and they change some of menu daily :) The share bathroom is clean and maintained properly, u may use ur own lock to lock your locker securely. Each bed are covered with curtains :) Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay!

Astoria Palawan will always be our favorite recharging place after an adventure packed week in El Nido and Port Barton. Perfect place to just chill, relax and enjoy the remaining days of your vacation before flying back to Manila or back abroad.

* Upon arrival, the air conditioning unit in our villa was not properly maintained. The filter was extremely dirty and clogged, causing excessive noise and poor performance. We had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. * There is little to no mobile signal in the area, and the WiFi connection has been unreliable due to ongoing maintenance, making it very difficult to stay connected. * There has been significant noise disturbance from construction work directly behind our villa, including the use of loud power tools throughout most of the day over several days. * We were only informed about a wedding taking place upon check-in. As a result, we were unable to use the sunbeds located outside our villa and had to relocate further away. Also due to the wedding taking place, the hotel had to make many soundchecks during the day before, playing very loud music which made it hard to relax on the beach. The wedding guests (80+ people) were allowed to use the villa next to us, as their designated toilet, which caused a lot of back and forth from the weddings guests right by our villa. This made it difficult to relax. * Additionally, we find that the restaurant prices are quite high compared to the quality of the food. For example, breakfast at 800 PHP did not meet basic expectations, as even simple items such as cheese and ham for bread were missing. I’m also sorry to say that the chicken adobo is tasteless, and on the menu it says the menu has been created by a Michelin chef. My mango daquiri tasted only of alcohol, so I had to ask for one with less alcohol. As a certified bartender, that is unacceptable. Even the French fries were not done properly as they needed more time in the oven (I think that’s what they used to make them at least, I would prefer if they were fried in oil though). However, very good mango shakes. * We would also like to mention that the access roads leading to the property are in very poor condition. The roads consist mainly of uneven gravel and are full of deep potholes, which make driving quite difficult and uncomfortable. In some areas, it is only possible to drive at around 10 km/h due to the condition of the road. We believe that the roads would greatly benefit from proper maintenance or being paved with cement, as this would significantly improve accessibility and the overall guest experience. We understand that some of these issues may be temporary or unforeseen, but taken together they have had a significant impact on our stay. However I would really like to highlight Hazel from the reception at the Nacpan Beach Villas. She was really sweet and thorough when we had any questions and went the extra mile for us. She deserves a raise. Please let her know we were really happy with her and really appreciated her.

ทำเลที่ตั้งดีมาก เพียง 5 นาทีจากท่าเรือและใกล้กับใจกลางเมือง ค่ารถตุ๊ก-ตุ๊กอยู่ที่ 30 เปโซต่อคน แม้ว่าจะไม่มีร้านค้าดีๆ มากมายในใจกลางเมืองก็ตาม การบริการดีมาก สุขอนามัยดี และมีสระว่ายน้ำถึง 3 สระ รวมทั้งสระเด็กด้วย แผนกต้อนรับดีมากและริเริ่มเพื่อช่วยให้เราติดต่อบริการเชื่อมต่อของโรงแรมถัดไปซึ่งราบรื่น อุปกรณ์อาบน้ำค่อนข้างพื้นฐาน ไม่มีครีมนวด คุณภาพแชมพูไม่ค่อยดี และแอร์ที่หน้าต่างในห้องดังเกินไป ฉันตัดสินใจพักที่นี่เพื่อความสะดวกในการไปทะเลเท่านั้น ไม่มีชายหาด แต่โรงแรมอื่นในบริเวณนี้ไม่มีชายหาดตั้งแต่แรก ร้านอาหารมีขนาดไม่ใหญ่นักและอาหารเช้าก็ค่อนข้างเข้มข้น โจ๊กสามประเภทก็ค่อนข้างอร่อยและขนมอบก็ค่อนข้างดีเช่นกัน

”One thing worth knowing if you’re travelling with kids: there are no children’s facilities, no waterslides, nothing like that. This is the kind of place that makes adults want to slow down. As for the kids, the pool isn’t deep, and right next door is Lio Beach. They also have footballs and volleyballs to borrow. We sat at a nearby café eating ice cream while watching them play, and I think that’s honestly one of the best things a parent can experience. There’s a hotel shuttle roughly every hour that you can book to go into town. We arranged island hopping through the hotel, took the shuttle to the departure point in the morning, and found the area there had far more restaurants and shops than around the hotel. After the tour we stayed a bit longer in town before heading back, though not being able to shower straight away was a slight downside. On the room itself, two sinks is a mum’s dream. There’s a kitchen but I had no intention of cooking. Still, being able to wash fruit and have it ready was genuinely useful. Two large double beds, both very comfortable, and after a full day of activity the kids were asleep before we even had to ask.”

การเข้าพักที่โรงแรมนี้น่าทึ่งมาก! หลังจากการเดินทางอันยาวนาน เราก็ถูกคนขับมารับที่สนามบินซึ่งมีชื่อของเราอยู่แล้ว ทําให้กระบวนการมาถึงราบรื่นและง่ายดาย เรามาถึงเร็วมาก แต่พนักงานก็ช่วยเหลือดีมากและอนุญาตให้เราใช้สิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกในสถานที่ในขณะที่เรารอเช็คอิน การแช่ตัวในสระหลังจากเดินทางมาทั้งวันเป็นวิธีที่สมบูรณ์แบบในการพักผ่อน อาหารเช้าดี และพนักงานก็ช่วยเราจัดเช่าสกู๊ตเตอร์ด้วย ซึ่งสะดวกมาก โดยรวมแล้ว เรามีประสบการณ์ที่ยอดเยี่ยมและจะกลับมาพักที่นี่อีกแน่นอน คุ้มค่า 5/5 !

This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. La habitación se ve que es muy antigua, los colchones son de espuma, los enchufes generan poca confianza, la verdad por lo poco que se paga se podría decir que está normal, no esperes mucho. El baño es otro mundo, la taza del baño no tiene la base para sentarse, por lo que es muy poco higiénico a la hora de usarlo, o eso o orinar y hacer tus necesidades sin tocar la taza. La ducha no tiene mucha presión, por lo que si vas a ducharte es mejor que uses la llave que está debajo de la ducha y llenes un balde y te bañes con el balde de agua. La puerta del baño de las mujeres está rota por debajo, por lo que puede causar un poco de inseguridad, aunque la verdad no creo que a la gente le importe mucho.
