⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Comfort and Service at an Amazing Value! I had an outstanding stay at Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel in Puerto Princesa. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

Pros: - friendly staff, they never fail to greet or smile when we cross paths - spacious room - no charge for extra blanket - satisfying meals every breakfast - place is near the airport Cons: - the air conditioner is noisy when it’s turned on - weak water pressure from the bidet - takes a long time to refill water in the dispenser

I really love this place! It's super close to the mall, which is great. The staff is so nice, especially the lovely lady at the front desk. She's just the best. The room is spotless and the hot water is a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a budget cottages and yet a quite area along the road, I like the pool on it. There is a nearby stores and a resto only walking distance from the cottage. If u want to go to the town/Bayan whay they call and sabang/a place where you can take a walk/nigjtlife, just pay 25 pesos if you shared wirh other passengers. The caretaker is very helpful also.If u want to go to the beach there is nearby 15 mins.from tje cottage and again, I took a sharing tricycle only paid 25 pesos or if you want a private one just hail along the road also. The caretaker will lead you with all your needs.I am satisfied with my stay as a solo traveller.

The Hotel is 2mins from the departures door of the airport. Staff service is superb but that’s a standard in the Philippines. Rooms clean. The only issue I had was with the wifi in the room which didn’t work and the hotel stuff were not able to fix. Overall in my opinion this hotel is better value for money than others in the same range.

It was okay I guess, despite the lack of exterior windows and bad carpet smell. I came here because there was more space in the rooms compared to competing, similarly priced hotels in Puerto Princesa, and a desk to work at. If you haven't researched the location, the hotel is very close to the airport and minor city attractions such as museums and cathedrals, but far from natural attractions such as wildlife conservations and clean beaches. And really, the latter is the main reason most people travel to Palawan. The buffet breakfast may have been adequate for the non-vegan, but that didn't include me.

We really had a very nice holiday here! The whole environment was excellent, all the facilities were easy to use and really every member of staff was very kind. Clean of course ! Delicious food! We have had some complaints, and I must explain here that my husband is an old German, and I found that the Germans are much more critical than the French, but the staff, from the general staff to the manager who was on duty every day, took our ”complaints” very seriously, and the most valuable thing is that every one of them really tried to help us to solve our ”problems”. The ”hassle”. I have to admire the service here! It really is better than many 5 star hotels! Fantastic Fireworks on the beach and the Resort had super prepared for all Guests together party! Even for Kids! We'll be back here again.

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there
