The place was top notch, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is good and the room is very nice.

The shuttle bus service between the airport and the hotel is excellent, especially if you have an early morning or very late-night flight—it’s extremely convenient. Restaurants are not very close to the hotel. You’ll need to walk at least around 10 minutes to find good food options. To be honest, the room is not really worth the price. It is quite small, and the shower sprayer in the bathroom is fixed, which makes it less comfortable to use.

Staying at Riad Old City Palace was pure magic – a hidden oasis in Fez’s bustling medina that felt like stepping into a warm Moroccan dream. The atmosphere is enchanting: intricate zellige tiles, cozy lounges with plush cushions, and a serene riad courtyard that whispers tranquility amid the city’s chaos. It’s the kind of place where every corner invites you to relax and soak in the authentic charm. The staff? Outstanding! From the moment we arrived, they were like family – incredibly friendly, always available with smiles and genuine care. Whenever we had doubts about anything (taxis, markets, hidden spots), they were there, patiently answering questions, always picking up the phone promptly, and even guiding us with precise directions to local gems. They made our trip seamless and stress-free. Food highlights were next-level. The late-night teas were a lifesaver after long days exploring – aromatic mint tea served with warmth and perfect sweetness under the stars. Dinners were flavorful feasts of tagines, couscous, and fresh salads that burst with local spices. Breakfast? A lavish spread of fluffy pancakes, fresh fruits, cheeses, and endless Moroccan pastries – we never wanted to leave the table! This riad is simply a nice place run by the best team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we strongly recommend it to everyone visiting Fez. We’ll be back!

We didn’t have a good stay at the Novotel in Mohammedia, there was no hot water on arrival and there was obviously a hotel wide issue, but the reception said they’d sent someone up and we needed to run the taps for 10 minutes! Well that didn’t work and there was no hot water in the morning either, even they promised it would be back by the morning, so freezing cold shower. No remote control for the TV, the blackout blinds had tears and holes in them (see photo), the carpets were tired and marked (photo) and the windows were absolutely filthy (photo). This was billed as a “superior room with park view” - you could see the park with the window open, but with it closed the dirt pretty much obscured it. We booked a massage but cancelled as how can you have a massage without a shower? The breakfast was very average. The staff were fine, they are up against it with this building, but they constantly asked us to give them reviews by name. The pool is tiny, the bar was quite lively and again nice staff. For a modern Novotel this was a pretty bad experience.

The hotel room is simple and clean with nice details, such as wall-socket with USB port, blackout curtain (means a lot if you’re changing time zone), and hair-dryer etc. Sitting in the very Chinese style dining hall, enjoying complimentary Chinese breakfast with background music and occasional parrot voice jam-in, I once had illusion of being in “Joy Luck Club”-like movie, rather amazing. If you look for budget hotel in the city, highly recommend.

Описание на трип ком вводит в заблуждение! Изначально когда мною бронировался номер в описании было указано, что это отель и в номерах имеются все удобства в том числе душ и туалет в номере! По приезду выяснилось, что душ и туалет находится на этаже , он общий для всех!!! Также при заселении на подушках отсутствовали наволочки, не было полотенец ( для меня это просто был шок), полотенца и одеяло тоже пришлось просить у хозяйки, но конечно полотенца которые мне дали повергли меня в шок… ( на фото их видно) , туалетной бумаги не было, нечем было вытираться. На Английском никто не разговаривает, только на китайском языке. Общались через переводчик. Из плюсов могу отметить, хозяйка достаточно доброжелательная женщина , в аэропорт нас довезли во время, был вкусный ужин из китайских блюд. Но когда я бронировала номер я ожидала совершенно другое, что это будет именно отель с элементарными удобствами. Рядом именно Отель со всеми удобствами стоит также около 100 долларов. Считаю , что стоимость нашего проживания сильно завышена, а самое главное , что трип ком вводит в заблуждение людей при описании удобств. Вообщем это не отель, это просто гостевой дом.

เหตุผลหลักที่ฉันพักที่โรงแรมนี้คือเพราะมีที่จอดรถฟรี ราคาประหยัด 10 เซ็นต์ และรวมอาหารเช้าด้วย ทำเลที่ตั้งค่อนข้างไกลจากสถานที่หลักๆ แต่เนื่องจากฉันพักแค่คืนเดียวจึงไม่ได้' ไม่เป็นไร… ในวันเช็คอินเวลา 21.00 น. เกิดขึ้นว่าระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ขัดข้องและฉันไม่สามารถเช็คอินได้ หลังจากรอนานกว่า 30 นาทีก็ยังไม่ซ่อม แผนกต้อนรับใช้ได้แค่คีย์การ์ดสำรองเพื่อช่วยฉันเช็คอินเท่านั้น! ทัศนคติของพนักงานต้อนรับดีมากแต่น่าเสียดายที่เกิดมีคอมพิวเตอร์ขัดข้องฉันทำอะไรไม่ถูกมาก…….... ห้องพักสะอาดแต่วางสัมภาระยากนิดนึงครับ มีบุฟเฟ่ต์ในตอนเช้าถึงแม้จะมีอาหารให้เลือกไม่มากแต่ก็มีเติมเรื่อยๆและราคาก็ดีมาก ถ้ามาพักแค่คืนเดียวต้องจอดรถถือว่าได้นะครับ 😉 มีภาษีเมืองเมื่อคุณเช็คอิน ซึ่งแตกต่างจากเมื่อคุณจองเล็กน้อย โรงแรมหลายแห่งในโมร็อกโกก็ประสบปัญหาเช่นนี้เช่นกัน ดังนั้นคุณควรใส่ใจด้วย
