I chose this location because of a venue I was visiting was only a few minutes drive away.
The hotel is close to main road routes, shopping units and rugby town. There is a Harvester pub restaurent on site.
The hotel has no lift only stairs to reach the upper level. Accessible rooms will be on the ground floor.
The staff were welcoming. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The shower was very accessible and modern.I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
This was a one-night stay whilst travelling on business so I was really only looking for a clean room with a comfy bed with a decent breakfast in the morning. This hotel delivered well on all three counts. It is also very conveniently located for the M40 with a McDonald's right next door. I booked for a very reasonable price and much preferred it to some of the Premier Inns that I've stayed in recently.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we arrived and rooms were spotless, everything we needed. Did have a little musty smell but it's an older building didn't spoil they stay. We ate in the lounge bar food was lovely staff again were great. We requested a quiet room and it was didn't hear a noise peaceful stay. There's a nature walk on the grounds it was nice of an evening to take a little stroll lovely surroundings I'd stay there again
Overall our experience was about average, if not below. When we arrived to check-in about late afternoon, the English female staff at reception was either tired or just didn't like us, or probablyjustme as I'm Not English. She basically just checked us in and told us the basic information about where our room was, where the restaurant was and the meal times. No information was mentioned about the spa/pool amenities nor about the hotel wifi. We assumed that those information would be in our room but we didn't see it straight away. We had to come back down to ask for the password and had to inquire about booking our evening dinner as it wasn't provided upon check in. I felt discriminated because I wasn't ”white” but my partner was.
Next is about the staff at the bar. Again I felt discriminated because I stood in front of the bar to order some drinks. The English female staff already saw me but was too preoccupied texting on her mobile and instead of saying ”I will be with you in a moment” she just walked away and got another member of staff, a male one, to attend to me and my partner. My partner and I have never experienced this kind of treatment from all of the hotels that we've been in. I wouldn't be surprised if the English staff in your hotel treats their non-English colleagues the same way.
What went well -
competitive room price
king size bed
new renovation
Be aware of
mattress too soft, need to be firm
room has no air conditioning
Shower fountain is “water saving style”, not strong

ผผู้เข้าพักHotel staff are great however hotel is dated, carpets and walls are worn or marked, kettle was broken, bathroom had mould and lose fixtures.
YYuanI came to stay as I needed to attend a meeting in the Birmingham Business Park the next day morning. The B&B was on the edge of the Coleshill. It was an okay stay, and just about okay. I won't be against staying there again, but there is nothing special to lure me back either.
Plus: James ware expecting me when I arrived and showed me the key and the room. He also took my order for the next morning. The room was of decent size. There are lots of lights in the room. The bed was okay. There is on site parking space. The breakfast was ready when I walked down to the dining room.
Minus: At £148 a nigh this was certainly not good value for money. The facility was a bit basic, albeit adequate (tea/coffee/kettle/biscuits and hair dryer). There was one bottle for hair/body wash and there was a small soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is just about of adequate size for one person. The water temperate varied a bit while on show, but workable.
Also my room was on 2nd floor, with narrow steep stairs. It was okay for me as I traveled very light. But it would be tricky for someone with big luggage or mobility restraint.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อI spent two nights here for the Shakespeare celebrations and absolutely loved it. The house has such a perfect ambience — cozy and welcoming.
The room was perfect, too: spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also liked that they had a TV in the room — it was nice to have it on for some white noise since I was travelling alone. Plus, they provided an electric kettle with instant coffee, milk, and tea, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was spotless, and the amenities (soap, towels, etc.) were complete.
They offered several options for breakfast, but I always went with the English breakfast—and it was so good! Not to forget, cereals, fruit, jam, and milk were also available in the dining room.
It's too bad I didn’t have the chance to enjoy the separate kitchen, but the street view from its window gave it such good vibes.
I would definitely come back here if I revisit this city!
ผผู้เข้าพักLovely room and bathroom was really nice with walk in shower and bath, under bed lighting which came on when going to the loo in the night which is helpful in strange places. Breakfast included
The balcony was private with amazing views. Took duck and swan food and the ducks and fish came from everywhere lovely to watch Deb
ผผู้เข้าพักThis venue was stunning, a beautiful quiet location to catch your breath or walk into Stratford-upon-Avon to enjoy the architecture and see the history.
Wish we could have spent more time there, and we would certainly plan to return and explore further.
Very clean, tidy, and spacious accommodation.
Fittings within the room and in the hotel were excellent. Linen and towels were of superb quality.
The service was excellent throughout, and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful.
