I stayed at La Parisien Hotel during my visit to Tunisia, and I had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and main attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were polite and ready to help with any questions. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. Overall, it’s a good choice for travelers looking for affordable and decent accommodation in Tunisia.
Excellent location and excellent service, I would like to thank all reception members of staff for their friendly service, especially Hedi and Mrs Zahia . As well excellent room cleaning service top notch.
Excellent hotel to satay in for business traveller solo traveller and for a weekend in the capital ,loved the breakfast, 100% i recommend to all friends and family members and to anyone wanting to spend time in the capital Tunis as its close to everything you need.
Looking forward to staying at carlton hotel in my next trip
I have stayed twice at the Nine and both times have been good experiences. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff is very friendly.
The rooms are missing a mini bar and toiletries which would have been nice to have.
The guest house is very nice but without private bathroom. During booking, this information was hidden and was not available at first glance. I needed to click twice + scroll down to see this important information. So this was a bad surprise to find out that there were only shared bathrooms.
The hotel is really well located at the entrance to the Medina. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good if you like Tunisian-style. The shower needs some work as the shower head would not stay up (my father’s room was the same). Otherwise a good stay. Will be back later in the week.

YYesim SertI had a frustrating experience at the hotel. The staff at the reception pretended to speak English, but when I asked a question I got vague answers. For example, when I asked for tea, they said ”Someone will bring it to your room”, but it never came. There was no phone in my room and the air conditioning didn't work. The first room they gave me didn't have a TV and there was a problem with the tap. They gave me a room with a sea view, but it was too far from the entrance and I still had problems with the air conditioning and the phone. All these problems were only resolved the day before I checked out.
Also, my charger didn't fit into the socket and when I asked about it, I got the same vague answer with no follow up. I even left my phone at the reception to charge, but it never did, which was incredibly frustrating.
As for breakfast, you have to go to a restaurant or balcony area where a lady with an angry expression on her face takes care of you, but you are forced to eat whatever she brings to your table, there is no choice. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing and not at all what I expected.
ผผู้เข้าพักMy husband and I recently stayed at Suisse Hotel in Tunis. The location is quite good — it’s in a busy part of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from Habib Bourguiba Street, the Old Medina, local bazaars, and the main highway. It’s convenient for sightseeing and getting around.
However, there are a few downsides. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, and the breakfast options are limited and predetermined by the hotel — not much variety or anything particularly special. Also, the entrance door is often locked at night, which might feel a bit uncomfortable since the alley outside can be dark and not very safe. Furthermore hotel doesn't have parking.
On the positive side, the staff are very nice, polite, and helpful, which really makes a difference during your stay.
Overall, Suisse Hotel is fine if you’re looking for a convenient location and friendly service, but there’s room for improvement in facilities and safety measures.
ผผู้เข้าพักFor those who complain about traffic noise. All hotels on busy areas will have noise. Don't be angry with the hotel. They cannot control traffic noise. How about investing in earplugs. I bring them everywhere, just in case. Get over yourself. When you leave for the day How about placing the card on the door to have your room cleaned!! How about mentioning it to the reception when leaving for the day!! Of course not, you prefer to complain. I've been here a week, and not one day has passed that I do not see the cleaners on the floor. Need something, kindly ask and they will be more than happy to assist you. Stop behaving entitle, and have some respect. Stop being cheap and expecting think you will be handed a platinum platter. Every one from the reception, security that is outside the bars, cleaners etc have been kind and curious. As well, just because your mother catters to you hand and foot, do not expect the same at the hotels. They are not your parent. Grow up and take responsibility! The bed is my mess 🤣 afterthought to take photo. Room is clean and comfortable. No complaints!
