Perfect stay in the clouds resort. We spent five nights here. I am living in Chiba for 18 years. This is the best stay in hotel since I am here. The village is touristic, but authentic and quiet in night. It’s a mix of ancient village, water, nature. The dream China. The resort is perfectly located on the side of the lake. The common parts are wonderful, from the term, the garden, the courtyards. You can feel the soul of the country here, built by multiple generations. The rooms are traditional but beautiful and extremely well equipped with huge shower, Japanese toilets, huge bathtub. There is 3 courtyards, all original and authentic. You feel the heat of history. The restaurant is the best of the city, for reasonable prices and tasty and comfortable settings. On the top of it, very dedicated staff, trying their best to make us happy, nice breakfast, nice afternoon tea, tea ceremony… we can be only grateful to have the pleasure to stay here. Fast train station is just ten minutes away…

We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

Zhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others! Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you. The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests. Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water. The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

這次兩家結伴出行，選擇這家民宿真的太滿意了！ 房型空間超大，兩家人入住格外寬敞舒適，活動毫無拘束。民宿位置特別好，距離碧山很近，老闆貼心免費提供電瓶車，騎行幾分鐘就能直達，出行遊玩特別方便，想來油菜花盛開的季節，這邊景色一定會更加絕美。 老闆手藝超棒，家常菜味道地道又好吃，清淡合口、食材新鮮，吃飯特別安心。房間還配備了麻將機，晚上閑暇時可以一起消遣放鬆，氛圍感十足。 店裡還有一衹超可愛的小狗叫QQ，温順又親人，增添了很多治癒的小樂趣。 美中不足的就是床品品質普通，面料偏粗糙，敏感肌睡起來會稍微有點發癢。 拋開這點小瑕疵，整體性價比超高，老闆人熱情和善，服務貼心，不管是短途遊玩還是結伴度假都很合適，非常推薦！

Beautiful location and excellent service from reception (manager gave us a free upgrade to the best room on the property!) to arranging everything to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The Deputy manager Felix was most helpful, he speaks English and we also received a thoughtful parting gift of local tea. The food at Bai Yun and Ming Yue restaurants were excellent! The buffet breakfast quality and choice was top notch. We wished we stayed longer than one night! We stayed here after two nights at Huangshan Summit so the in the room wooden bath soaks was a dream. Room was very clean and spacious. Truly 5-star!

很少在網絡點評，但這次的行程讓我比較滿意 我選擇的是枕山一宿的套房（兩室兩廳）一家人居住，就跟家庭的感覺一樣。兩個卧室可以住五人。另外這個地方距離宏村步行就五分鐘。從街巷中繞過去就行，周邊美食也比較多。十分方便。 房間內乾淨整潔，設施齊全，還配有微波爐冰箱。另外再分享一個景點，盧村，早上七點過去可以不用門票，裏面的自然景色很美。

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly felt welcomed like at home from the very beginning. The staff was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every meal was a real pleasure. The surroundings are beautiful, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Our room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, equipped with everything one might need for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended!
