A Grand Stay in Ooty! My recent stay at V Grand Hotel Ooty was an absolute delight, truly exceeding all expectations. If you're looking for luxury without the hefty price tag, this is your spot. The rooms are incredibly luxurious, boasting 5-star amenities for what felt like a 3-star price. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by how modern and well-appointed everything was. They’ve thought of everything: a hot water dispenser right in the room, a large Sony TV with seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and even a comfy recliner single-seater sofa. Plus, the convenience of a separate foldable extra bed is a huge bonus. What truly surprised me was how cozy and warm the room stayed, even without a heater – perfect for Ooty's cool climate. Location-wise, it's ideal. V Grand Hotel is very close to Charring Cross, putting you right at the heart of Ooty's action, yet it remains remarkably calm and silent.

Very nice hotel. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They were lovely and helpful throughout and just very nice and smiley.

Fabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down  to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back).  Didn’t realise we could order eggs  for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them  on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned  on arrival  and there were splatters marks on the wall  above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout! Fabulous shower. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent. We did the morning ’hike’  which was well worth getting up for.  We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.  Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch  although more of the breakfast cake would have been good. Would recommend staying here as rooms, location  & restaurant are excellent.

Pros: Good stay, very nice staff. Lovely European-inspired vintage interiors in rooms. Clean and Big rooms. Electric kettle, coffee, tea in rooms. Cons: Limited free space. So cannot be called a resort. Only 2 items for breakfast. No Lunch and dinner at hotel. It can be ordered through Swiggy. Overall, very good stay is guaranteed if we don't expect much of outdoor area for activities within hotel.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a comfortable stay. I stayed for four nights and was even able to work remotely without any issues. I’d definitely come back. Sayan, the property manager, was a wonderful host , helpful and attentive throughout.

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were large enough. The restaurent , buffet breakfast is good. Need to watchout the hot water timings. overall a nice property.

Rooms' interiors, reception, restaurant and parking facility are good. Below are points where the hotel needs to work. 1. Repair the water leakage in the rooms as well as in the washroom. 2. During peak times, improve the strength of manpower for the breakfast buffet and also maintain something to keep food warm. I felt almost every guest had problems with getting utensils or warm food.

1. Hotel was clean friendly staff, supportive. 2. Complementary breakfast was amazing. 3. In ask of extra room they arranged for it, so extremely supportive. 4. There were clean towels, bedsheets, soap, hot water etc. 5. Hotel room is little small, ideal for couple but not ideal for two friends. 6. Parking is okay okay type. I

I have found this property in make my trip. Absolutely this property maintain g clean and neat. The staffs also polite and humble. Main thing is car parking is too good and spacious. The view from the rooms also good
