"I had a comfortable stay here in terms of service and hospitality. The staff were courteous. As far as the facility is concerned the room walls looked old and missing the appeal to qualify it as a 5 star hotel. I could clearly smell wood whenever I walk in the room and the bath area is quite small and not tidy. The food tasted decent but the options in the buffet are quite limited compared to other 5 star hotels. I would not recommend picking this hotel if you are truly looking for the comforts of a 5 star"

"The room was clean, modern, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The bathroom was well-maintained, and the shower had good water pressure Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient A clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel on OMR. ผผู้เข้าพักI had a flight that was postponed to the evening instead of the original morning time schedule. As such I needed a hotel that was near Chennai Airport for me to rest. Radisson Blu was very near the Airport, about 10 mins drive away. The hotel and room was excellent and very clean. The breakfast and lunch buffet had a wide range and very tasty. Most importantly, the staff, from the counter staff at check-in and check-out , to the concierge, the staff and managers at the restaurant and the driver of the car for the Hotel's Airport transfer were very helpful, polite and engaged me in genuine conversations to find out how my stay in the hotel was and if I needed anything. I truly enjoyed the short stay I had in the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is only near the Airport, and is quite a drive away from the city centre.
But am excellent Hotel nevertheless.

SSawar Mal AgarwalOverall, the hotel is good and the staff are polite and welcoming. The evening 6:30 PM carnatic music combine with fire show was especially beautiful and truly enjoyable.
However, there are a few areas where improvement is needed:
There was no response from the Palace service number. I tried calling 3–4 times on 19th February at around 9:45 AM, but no one answered.
On 20th February at 6:15 AM, I requested a scissor or knife to cut the tag from my dress. No one turned up for about 15 minutes, and I had to change my outfit and leave by 6:32 AM.
The breakfast spread was very vast with a wide variety of options, which was impressive. However, the masala tea was very disappointing. It seemed like masala was simply mixed into regular tea. In India, masala tea is prepared authentically and is refreshing, giving a great start to the day. The taste and preparation could definitely be improved.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but attention to these details would significantly enhance the guest experience.

They need lots of improvement in service and the rooms need some renovation as the wardrobes n carpets look old. it will also be better if they use some room freshener or candles with fragrance as the room doesn't have a pleasant smell. Overrall, it's not that great for a premium hotel.

The staff was excellent - especially Sneha M. who helps guests at the lobby and offers quick and effective solutions and also another Sneha who works at the restaurant.
The music 🎶 in the restaurant is the worst I heard in any hotel in India.
It is two types of music (classical Indian and also western) which are played at the same time!
It is ridiculous and annoying and it is also too loud which is why some of the staff look miserable.
The chef was walking around the dining room exchanging pleasantries with guests but he should be on the kitchen controlling what goes on there.
The ”chai masala” had no taste of ginger and the milk was so burned that it kept steaming for a whole hour (it was undrinkable so I returned it).

The rooms are what you expect to find in a hotel that was considered luxurious in the 1990's.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning system is still the original one and it can no longer be set (it can only be switched on or off).

ผผู้เข้าพักThe staff were friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. The hotel is quite old, but overall it’s not bad. The location is strategic, though it can be noisy. I’m a light sleeper, and the loud horn noise outside made it difficult for me to sleep well.
My main concern was cleanliness. The cup in the room was not clean, and the bed linen did not seem to be changed or had many old stains, which was disappointing.
Breakfast options were limited, and the dining space was quite small. However, the food itself was standard and acceptable. The breakfast staff were very proactive—they checked what we wanted and served quickly, which was very good and appreciated.
Overall, the stay was acceptable. Its worth for the price, I think it’s reasonable.

VValentine56My wife and I stayed there for 3-days in mid July, overall stay was good and pleasant and we take this opportunity to thank Mr Ramar (Manager @ Cilantro) who was not only polite and professional, he went the extra mile to help us out in a complex situation that arose on our 1st day.
A well deserved PAT for Mr Ramar in exhibiting his professionalism
But I cant say the same for the Travel Manager Mr Balaji who vehemently refused and not even seeking any other avenues or alternatives to assist us, totally
no empathy shown at all bearing the fact that we being tourists cant access to all your facilities
This we consider a major setback as its reflects horrid customer service

HHighland NomnomWe felt super welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we alighted our transport from the airport. The staff were all pleasant and warm, making the stay really comfortable and cosy.
Room was comfortably sized and clean, toilet was also clean. There were many channels to watch on the TV. Breakfast was great, we especially loved the live stations where we can order dosa and scrambled eggs. Loved the chai.
Our room was also facing the river and we could raptor watch quite close from our window! Super exciting watching Black Kites swooping around.
The only down side is that soundproofing wasn’t the best and amenities look a little aged, but we aren’t too bothered and still enjoyed our stay. Thank you Radisson front desk and housekeeping staff!
