We had an incredible time at this hotel! The overall design, especially the gardens, was absolutely stunning (the gardeners are doing an amazing job!). Our room was spacious, equipped with everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff ensured our room was spotless every single day. The food was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Every night, there was a BBQ featuring a variety of meats, so there was always something new to enjoy – you definitely won’t get bored of the food! The beach area was fantastic, offering activities like volleyball, pétanque, and even camel rides. One of our favorite features was the pier, where you can snorkel at the end. The underwater world was breathtaking, and the lifeguard was attentive, making sure we felt safe throughout. A huge shout out to the animation team for their incredible effort! The evening shows were fantastic and SO MUCH FUN, and the daily activities like aqua aerobics and volleyball added so much fun to our stay. A special thanks to queen Berta for going above and beyond to make everything even more enjoyable – she’s truly the best! Also, a big thank you to Miriam (I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly; she works in guest relations at the desk next to reception) for helping me organize a birthday surprise. I really appreciate her help! For the downsides: The breakfast bag we received for our early morning flight was disappointing. (This is provided when your flight departs too early for the regular breakfast service.) Unfortunately, it didn’t match the amazing breakfasts we enjoyed at the hotel – we only managed to eat the banana, as the rest wasn’t very appetizing. Lastly, we were constantly disturbed by a variety of sellers trying to promote/sell excursions or the hotel’s amenities. We were constantly being interrupted while we were reading, talking, and even while we were sleeping. We understand this is common in many hotels in Egypt, but it would be a significant improvement if the hotel made an effort to minimize these disturbances. For example, it would be much better if, during check-in, guests were informed about where to find these sellers in case they were interested in booking excursions or spa treatments. Overall, we truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and can’t wait to return! 😊
Overall nice 7 seven days spent in picturesque hotel. Whole area of the hotel was well maintained, though the hotel is not so new. Well-tended gardens with green bushes ”smiling” at you every day :) Hotel room we got was renovated with a sea view from the balcony, cleaning crew came daily, we had no complaints about their work. They even left detailed towel animals, basically the whole zoo lived with us by the end of our vacation. When it comes to the beach, places are assigned at the begining of your holiday, all of the relatively close to do see. What deserves the biggest plus is amazing coral reef 7 m from the beach at most. Animation team is really commited to making your stay enjoyable with beach activities and evening shows. They are not nagging and gently encourage people to join. Food can become monotonous at some point. The breakfast variety might not be wide, but still its easy to find something you like. There were some issues with pastas in the main restaurant, as they really lacked consistency with pasta far from being al dente, though in the Al Amira Restaurant this problem was non existent. And finally, the biggest issue. Shuttle buses, taxis from outside the hotel cant drive beside the gate. It might not be the issue if the gate was close to the lobby, but it isn't. Roughly 500m walk through a construction site, with comments from men is really not fun for two women. Interestingly enough, we had few rides, some drivers could come in and some couldnt. We got the information that it depends on the deals the hotel have with outside companies. But again, this should not happen for guests of the guests.
I was really happy with the hotel, it was beautiful and nice, the food was beautiful, the hair was very good, the princess was very good, the girl was very beautiful, the work was very beautiful. And such beautiful food, and the sea is so sweet and different, and one day it will be beautiful because of the things that happen there, and a hotel❤️
The registration when we arrived was very quick which was very nice after a long journey. There is a very nice heated pool as one of the facilities! The food was very good with good hygiene and a variety of foods which you can have different everyday you could never get bored with it! Me and my friends I went with never got bored as there was so many different things to do, including the pool, gym, beach, animation entertainment, kids activities, diving and quad biking trips and so many more things to do. What a fantastic holiday. The staff were so friendly and always made us feel welcome. We loved the rooms and how spacious they were with very good storage place for clothing, we were surprised by the decorations on the bed after the cleaners cleaned the rooms! The bathroom was a very good size and was very clean! I would definitely come back to this hotel!!
We just enjoyed a fantastic 3 centre trip to Egypt ... Aswan, Luxor for history and El Qusier for snorkeling. After a 5 hour drive across the desert from Luxor we arrived at another of our favourite hotels in Egypt, the Moevenpick, El Quiser. Our third visit here. After ten days of Egyptian history we came here to relax on the beach and for the superb and easy snorkeling. The hotel is a low rise development built in Nubian style. As a result it is quite spread out, but we enjoyed the exercise. Our seaview suite was tasteful and stylish in muted tones, with Nubian accessories. Storage was good and the bathroom had an excellent walk in shower. We had a lovely outside area with 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs and a table and a fabulous hot jacuzzi pool. There are screens for privacy/shade should you want them. Due to its isolation half board is compulsory. The breakfast buffet is excellent with the usual choice of fruit, cereals, pastries and freshly made ommelettes etc. Evening meals are equally good, in themed buffet style with lots of variety. We ate once in each of the a la carte restaurants, Seagulls and Al Fresco. Both had waiter service and the food was exceptionally good. Both pools are close to the sea but we prefer the long sandy beach where you can walk straight out into the sea to swim or snorkel. Even better snorkelling is off the end of the jetty where you simply walk down a ladder into the sea. Turn LEFT, swim past the jetty and you are in the wonderful undersea world of a drop off ... like an underwater cliff, which is teeming with every type and colour of coral and fish. You swim out against the current and drift back with it ... just so easy and so much to see. Amazing. There's also a highly regarded Dive Center here for those who want to scuba. Heads up about the beach ... you need to be up early !! By 7 am all the front row is gone !! This is a place to relax and unwind and enjoy the hotel facilities. In the past we have enjoyed sunset drinks at the Rock Bar but sadly it was too windy this time. The hotel runs a shuttle to the nearby small town where there is a fort but we didn't go there so can't comment. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, and special thanks to Alaa and Ebeid for keeping our room so beautifully. When we were there a cargo ship had just grounded on the reef offshore. The hotel is doing its best to make up for this with the guests. Fortunately the small oil leakage has not affected the beach/coral at the Movenpick as the current is taking it South. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly to avoid further damage to the beautiful marine environment of the Red Sea.
This is a lovely little hotel, south of Safaga with its own reef. This is the 3rd time that we have holidayed here, and we will return again next year. The reef is fantastic for snorkelling, the staff friendly, and the food good (without the massive choices of the larger hotels) The rooms are clean, the total management approachable ……… what’s not to like!!
