Die Hotellage ist 1a, die Zentrumsnähe ermöglicht die Erkundung der schönen Altstadt. Die Lage direkt am Wasser lässt erahnen, warum Lippstadt auch als das „Venedig Westfalens“ bezeichnet wird. Die Mitarbeiterinnen der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, gleiches gilt auch für die Servicekräfte. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet, das Frühstücksbuffet reichlich! Alles in allem: ein guter Aufenthalt, und das nicht zum letzten Mal!

Ich habe das Welcome Hotel in Paderborn bereits zum 2. mal besucht und kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen. Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich, aufmerksam und engagiert. Nur um ein kurzes Beispiel zu nennen: Ich hatte aufgrund meines Geburtstages einen Hotelgruß inklusive Obstkorb auf meinem Zimmer vorgefunden. Das ist sicherlich nicht selbstverständlich und hat mich wirklich sehr gefreut! Die Zimmer waren an beiden Aufenthalten sauber, geräumig und hell. Auch die Betten waren bequem und nicht durchgelegen. Beim Frühstück war für jeden Geschmack und jeder Vorliebe etwas dabei. Auch hier war alles frisch, hygienisch, vielfältig und gut zugänglich angerichtet. Auch für Fahrradfahrer/innen ist das Hotel sehr gut geeignet, da eine hauseigene Fahrradgarage vorhanden ist und man bei Bedarf E-Bikes (Pegasus E-Trekkingbike, Bosch Motor) für 25€ / Tag mieten kann. Meine Frau hat sich ein solches Rad geliehen und war während unserer Tagestour durch Paderborn und Umgebung zufrieden. Eine Tagestour wie z.B. die Paderborner Seentour ist klar zu empfehlen und sollte insbesondere im Sommer mal gefahren werden. Wir werden auch ein 3. mal wiederkehren!

Wunderschöner Stilmix aus historischer westfälischer Fassade und moderner bzw. in unserem Fall sehr großzügiger Zimmerausstattung. Der Empfang ist freundlich und kompetent. Die Parksituation ist problemlos (wenn man richtig anfährt). Nichts wirkt dort irgendwie gezwungen oder aufgesetzt. Ein mehr als stimmiges Gesamtbild. Abzüge würde ich beim Frühstück machen wollen. Der Kaffee ist arg dünn und wird in optisch wenig ansprechen Thermoskannen serviert. Das ist insofern schade, da Porzellan und Besteck einen sehr wertigen Eindruck machen. Butter aus der Portionspackung gehört sich nicht für so ein Haus und aus Gründern der Nachhaltigkeit schon gar nicht. Selbiges gilt für die angebotene Leberwurst, die allen Ernstes in Portionspackungen eines Lieferanten für die Großgastronomie angeboten werden. Außerdem ist der Service etwas nachlässig, wenn es um das Nachdecken von Tischen oder das Nachreichen von Kaffee geht. Dem tollen Gesamteindruck tut das aber kaum Abbruch und von daher möchte ich auch bei der vollen Punktzahl bleiben.
