Rude staff and a room that was not fit for a dog! Mould on ceiling & walls, broken furniture with sharp edges and rusty bathroom fittings. This is not a 4 starr! I wouldn’t even give it 1 star. The hotel is in desperate need of modern renovations. Also *********** are completely homeless resolving issues when you book via them.

เมื่อสองปีที่แล้วได้ไปเยือนแล้วภายหลังได้เขียนรีวิวให้โรงแรมนี้ ตอนนั้นคิดว่าโรงแรมเป็น Holiday Inn ที่ดีที่สุดในประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวของผมทั้งทริป (ผมได้เดินทางไปพักประมาณ 1 คืนต่อปีในโรงแรม Holiday Inn ทั่วโลกใน 10 ปีล่าสุด) ามยังมีความคิดเห็นเดียวกัน - ที่นี่เป็นโรงแรม Holiday Inn ที่ดีที่สุดที่เคยไปพักมา โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้กับ Old Town มาก เพียงข้ามแม่น้ํามาริตะ มีร้านอาหารอร่อยๆ มากมาย เดินเพียง 1 นาที ห้องอาหารของโรงแรมเองมีอาหารเช้าคุณภาพดี gourmet ทั้งอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม ห้องพักและทั้งโรงแรมสะอาดและดูดีมากๆ พนักงานทุกคนมีความเป็นมืออาชีพมาก เป็นกันเอง และเหนือสิ่งอื่นใดที่ฉันได้สัมผัสโดยปกติในความพยายามที่จะทําให้การเข้าพักของฉันดีขึ้น ขอบคุณทางโรงแรมและพนักงานและหวังว่าการเข้าพักของฉันจะดีขึ้นต่อไป

We were two couples in double rooms. Very happy with our stay at Boris Palace. All the staff pleasant and helpful. Lady at check in showed us both rooms so we could choose which we preferred. Both rooms spotless. Both had balconies and good views. Very impressed with the cleanliness everywhere. Absolutely spotless. Very nice breakfast of hams, cheeses, lovely fresh bread and pastries. Couldn't fault the hotel and would be my first choice when back in Plovdiv as the location was perfect. In the old town but very close walking distance to everywhere.

We stayed here 5 nights. As Diamond members. we were upgraded before our arrival to an awesome suite, which was greatly appreciated. We found everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This hotel is particularly well designed, with high end finishes, great showers and comfortable beds. The A/C worked perfectly and the room stayed cool during really hot weather...we only had to turn it on occasionally. The rooms are very well laid out. Our one bedroom suite had two full bathrooms, providing a fantastic level of comfort. The breakfast was great. We are plant-based and healthy eaters and both of us were very happy with the great selection of fruit, salad, olives, wonderful olive tapenade, breads and other fresh options. The hotel is perfectly located with the old town an easy walk away. There's also great grocery stores and a DM very close by as well. For me this was the rare flawless stay. I did not expect that in Bulgaria....great job by the team here. :)

It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!
