ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a lovely stay at this amazing hotel. It’s a bit outside the ancient town, but we actually preferred it that way, especially since they offer electric scooters you can use to ride there yourself. This gives you a lot of freedom. We hiked through the valley and went to the starting point by scooter. You can also simply ride around and enjoy the amazing landscapes on the scooter.
The room itself is lovely; the hotel is brand new and the view is absolutely stunning. If there hadn’t been a small road in front of the hotel, it would have been even more perfect. The staff (we believe it’s a family) run the hotel together, and that really sets it apart from other hotels in town. Breakfast is cooked with vegetables freshly picked from their garden, and you can also enjoy delicious homemade dinners here. With the help of a translation app, communication was smooth, and they also picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, clean, and modern hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the people. Thanks again!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe service was the best I’ve experienced in a hotel in China. The staff was kind, they had 24/7 WeChat customer support with regular reminders and kind messages, the view and location was amazing, and the staff took good care of me when I got sick on the last day without me even saying anything. They just noticed everything and were very proactive. Very kind and warm hearted..I felt right at home.
ผผู้เข้าพักChuxin Homestay felt more like staying with thoughtful hosts than at a typical Yangshuo lodging. The room was quiet, spacious, and well kept, and the bed was comfortable enough to rest well after long days out. Getting around was easy with scooter rentals close by and simple food options nearby. What really made the stay smooth was the owner’s guidance — she helped map out our days realistically, steered us toward fairly priced experiences, and discouraged activities that weren’t worth the money. We arrived late on our first night and were still warmly welcomed, which immediately set the tone for the stay. Communication was always clear and timely, and the place felt safe and well managed. A small but memorable detail was Fa Cai, the calm and friendly house dog. If you prefer an honest stay without tourist traps, this homestay is a solid choice.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.
