The hotel is a beacon of tranquility in bustling Lima. The rooms are outstanding, spacious, with incredible bathrooms and have a great view (ours was on 24th floor, facing the Pacific). While the hotel The staff is excellent and makes your stay relaxing and comforting. Highly recommended!

Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)

We stayed here as part of a pre-cruise land trip to Machu Picchu. Unfortunately due to political unrest, the Machu Picchu trip was cancelled; therefore, we spent an extra 5 nights in Lima at the Swissotel. Everyone here was extremely gracious and went out of the way to ensure our comfort. A special thank you to Concierge Enrique, who helped with tour and dining reservations. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and caring.

We had stayed at another Hilton the previous time we came to Lima, but after staying at the Double Tree, we will only return to this hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and it has a full gym you can use that provides you with water and a towel when you go. And what really sold it for us was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredible, but three people went above and beyond for us. Angel from the hotel restaurant provided top-notch service every morning to us. Also, Alondra from the front desk spent so much time with us, helping us set up our tours to ensure we had a fantastic time. She always had a smile on her face and we never felt like she was bothered by us. On the contrary, she was always happy to help and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. Also, the person that provided service to our room was terrific (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name). Every day he wanted to make sure we had what we needed. We had an amazing experience and we will be coming back to this hotel over and over again as long as we continue to get the same experience.

I really don’t know what’s wrong with this hotel, but something is definitely not right. Firstly, this property is located in a massive construction area with loud noise all day long. Secondly, it seems like nobody at the hotel cares for their job. No service to be found anywhere. Only positive experience we had was with the waiter Gerardo, who was the only one, who seemed to like his job. Everyone else couldn’t care less. Thirdly, the rooms are massive and very clean, however windows don’t block noises and the balcony doors don’t close completely, which makes the room cold and humid. The area is not for tourists and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone traveling to Lima.

Okay, so the Miramar is a little worn, a tad ragged about the edges, fixtures and carpeting linens and towels are a tad long in the tooth. But... It is clean. Everything works, most importantlythe shower and the aircon. It's in a great location, with a bunch of restaurants and supermarkets and money changers close by, and Av. Jose Pardo is half a block away, giving you a wonderful walk to the Ovala de Miraflores, where can carry on in equal comfort in a bunch of different directions. The neighbourhood is clean, safe and vibrant. It's inexpensive, even with a nice included breakfast. And all that good aside, the best thing about Hotel Miarmar is its staff. The front desk clerks, bellhops/concierge and housekeepers are excellent. Helpful, patient and professional in appearance and demeanor...nothing but good to say about these folks. But, the true shining star of this property is our breakfast Server, Josephine. Josie was effusive, so cheerful and friendly and outgoing, genuinely sweet and kind. She went out of her way to help us get sorted at breakfast and then again later in the morning, going way above her job description to help us. We'd come back and stay here just due her efforts 👌
