Excellent experience overall. Hotel centrally located and well maintained but above all quiet. After a good nights sleep, the day starts with a very good all you can eat breakfast. Staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment.
Lovely room for a family of four. The front desk staff were very helpful, but unfortunately, none of them mentioned that the hotel offers a free gym and steam room/spa for guests. I only found out about this after checking out, which was a shame.
Our experience with breakfast wasn’t great. On the first day, we waited around 20 minutes for two fried eggs—one of which came overcooked and the other undercooked with a runny center. On the last day, they had already run out of croissants more than an hour before breakfast ended. Also, there were no signs indicating the availability of chocolate powder for hot chocolate, so I didn’t realise it was there until our final morning.
Additionally, the hotel advertises a free drink when signing up for membership. I scanned the QR code and signed up on the first day, but there were no instructions on how to claim the drink, so I never got to use it.

Just needed an overnight stop prior to driving home after a long flight. Minor problems with the shower setup in 212 but I assume there’s a reason for it (hard to use the smaller shower head because of the way it’s fixed. But I have to say the bed was fine, the breakfast was good and the staff, without exception were terrific. I’ll be back.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning.
The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings.
All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly.
Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable.
Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean.
Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day.
Will definitely return to this hotel.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อWe were delighted with our stay here. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and the apartment was really comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen area hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher & tablets, kettle toaster, washing up liquid, tea towel, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine - perfect!
ผผู้เข้าพักI really enjoyed my stay at the hotel . The room was spotless and you can tell the housekeeping team puts real effort into maintaining high standard . I also loved how spacious the room was , it made the stay more relaxing and comfortable.
The only small downside the room didn’t include slippers , a bathrobe or toothpaste. These are small details , but the do make a difference and are usually appreciated after along day of travel .
Overall , I had a very comfortable experience and would happily stay here again
VvicchenggWe enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.
RRRosssWe stayed at Sandman for its proximity to Hydro for a concert. In that regard the location was good, an easy 20 minute walk. Glasgow is super hilly so be aware if you’re walking anywhere. The hotel was very good, excellent breakfast, superb nice staff. Clean rooms, fit my family of 4 well enough!
SsuperfunkatronParking out the back with a tunnel to walk through to reception. Pay for parking when checking out.
Our twin room was comfortable, and perfectly adequate for one night.
The location is actually great, right next to the sec , and plenty of options for getting into town.
It's a big hotel, so lobby and bar were buzzing at all times.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed at The Leonardo for medical appointments at Gartnaval General Hospital which was just 5 mins away. The hotel was clean but does need some upgrades within the rooms and lobbies. We only had an evening meal and breakfast on our 1st visit evening meal was fine, but we paid £16.99 each for breakfast which was not worth the £16.99. There was a lot of choice but the food from the hot plate was not hot only lukewarm. Our other visits we went out for our meals. Cannot fault the staff they were always polite, friendly and eager to help.
