Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and experience at the Astor Odysseus. Had a fantastic and amazing time. The look at the feel of the hotel was luxurious, welcoming, friendly, relaxing and spacious. The hotel was fully booked but it didn’t by any means feel crowded or cramped. The hotel was well maintained and our room was excellent. We had a junior family suite which essentially gave my wife and I along my two small boys separate rooms. We spent a lot of time around the range of pools that were well sized for adults and children. They were lots of fun with table service for drinks. We upgraded to all inclusive on arrival which was well worth it. Good and drink was superb, great hospitality. I couldn’t speak more highly of it. Lots of activities for the whole family including children’s discos, evening entertainment, cooking classes for children, laser tag (paid extra), sporting activities and my highlight was the rock climbing. The instructor Theodore was exceptional. I spend lots of time rock climbing back home so my time with him was well appreciated. Expert knowledge and skill. Top belaying and very safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that asks.

We stayed 10 days AI and I can genuinely struggle to find fault with the hotel. Food - varied in terms of choice in the main restaurant with a few specialist nights each week. Beach restaurant for lunch was amazing, bbq meats and salads. You can also book once for dinner each week which was lovely, especially the sunset views. Pools were great, but we’re beach people to spent our time there. It’s stony, but if you have beach shoes it’s perfect. We had calm days and choppy days, but loved both! Rooms were spacious, clean, loads of storage. We had a shared pool room which was lovely for a gentle dip. Staff were lovely! Hotel app was brilliant. Order drinks from any lounger and drinks were with you in minutes. Great AI options for drinks and the wine wasn’t awful either! .There’s lots of info in the app which we didn’t see until later in our stay, our bad. Bus runs regularly to Kos Town or get a cab to there or Tingaki Beach. Good bars and restaurants plus lots of areas to hire sun beds. Sandy beach too with water sports on offer. Had the best time and gutted that Jet2 don’t seem to have the hotel available for 2024.

The hotel is spacious and extremely clean. The food choice was amazing and all restaurants served great food. Branded drinks and excellent service from all staff especially at pool bar. Room was great and would definitely return again.

A truly fantastic hotel. We stayed in July 2023 as family of 4 with two young sons aged 4 and 2. The staff in every department are extremely friendly and helpful, a special mention to the girls in the kids club, the lady that comes to do the messy play an the staff in the restaurant beside the beach and also the pool bar. The standard of the food was excellent with plenty of variety. Rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean. If i had to look for one fault in the entire stay, it would be the quality of the car seats in the van we booked through the hotel for the airport transfer. Looking forward to returning next summer!

After much research of hotels on Kos we chose Astir based on reviews and it’s sea view room category. Having booked months in advance we requested an upper floor sea view room. Upon arrival we were given a lower floor room. Sadly the room is misleading being categorized sea view as shown in the photo I will post. Our view was chaises, umbrellas and the pool with “glimpses” of the sea!! A very unfortunate and disappointing room given our first time to Kos and all the pre-planning and early booking. The room itself was very nice - no complaints, bed was comfortable, A/C worked well. Wi Fi needs upgrading as it was a poor signal and times none at all. Quality of towels needs improving - some were old, worn and thin! We booked half board but only had 1 of 7 dinners at the resort. The resort is very family oriented and lots of unruly children as an FYI. Breakfast was o.k. Parking is easy and convenient. If we return to Kos we would book elsewhere.

Booked months in advance a sea view room however our room was a pool view of chaises and umbrellas and clearly should not be in the category of sea view. We also were half board but found the food to be o.k. We only dined 1 out of 7 nights at the hotel and chose restaurants in Kos.
For the positives, our room itself was very nice and we were pleased. The bed was comfortable, pillows very good, shower had lots of hot water and did not vary in temperature. A/C worked very well. Wi Fi needs upgrading though.

I have travelled extensively over the years always staying at 5 star hotels. I can honestly say hand on heart Astir Odysseus is by far the best in so many ways. The very professional courteous staff from the lowest to the top ranking have ALWAYS been so accommodating and nothing is ever a problem for them. From the moment we arrive until we reluctantly have to leave we have always been treated like VIPs and made to feel very very welcomed loved special appreciated and like family even after 6 visits. I would never stay anywhere else in Kos. I could name so many of the staff but this would be a very long review. Trust me Astir is a very special place for me and my family. Thank you again for everything you do for us, see you all next year. I ❤ you all. Bambos & Louise 🙏
