There aren’t enough stars to rate Ukutula , from checking in to checking out is faultless, the Staff are incredible and that is all due to the exceptional training they’ve had, Willi who owns Ukutula has standards. The Staff choose who you speak too treat everyone like part of this unique family. No praise can be enough for them. The accommodation at Ukutula are just like the Staff perfect, beautifully decorated individual thatched lodges, with an outside sitting area complete with a fire pit, camp chairs to sit around the fire pit plus a table and chairs on the veranda area. The bedroom’s are beautiful a lovely sitting area with a comfy sofa, a dining table, tv, ours had kitchenette superbly equipped which we didn’t use except the fridge. The restaurant serves beautifully presented meals and breakfast is a magnificent feast. The gardens with 2 pools are gorgeous with so many animal figures representative of the wildlife. We had joined our friends there, it was the final destination on our month long trip it was a reunion and our friend said it would be special, special doesn’t come close for Dreams coming True, we’ve been privileged of visiting several countries in Africa to see wildlife in a natural habitat, to play with Lion Cubs, to be licked by Fiji the Cheetah was something I never thought I’d do, but I have never dreamed that I would hold a 4 week old Lion Cub, that is a memory to cherish forever. Not only does Ukutula make dreams come true, the conservation that they do is a vital to the wildlife world, their laboratory is fascinating and great education on what they are doing to preserve wildlife. Thank You Ukutula for Making More Tan Dreams Come True
This is a beautiful lodge with stunning bedrooms, outside shower, bath and veranda. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our young guide Kelvin was incredibly knowledgable about the animals and birds. He was enthusiastic and very respectful towards the animals. A truly exceptional experience.

FFur baby mamaThe hosts were lovely! I was suffering from jer lag so I had fallen asleep before they came to welcome us but the following day they came to say hi as well. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Very clean. Spotless! Comfy beds and sofas. Got to see some giraffe and zebras as well as impalas. Amazing sunsets. Will defo go back next year when I return for my annual visit home.
ผผู้เข้าพักGreat value. Games drives, breakfast and dinner included. Great game drive on the Saturday evening followed by the Boma dinner which we really enjoyed.
TTravel604Very slow sluggish check-in, wifi does not work half the time very slow, and the light goes off every so often and the AC has to reset should woke me up all night long.
Location is very nice but everything else needs mayor improvement, I do see the owners and everything work hard but they are definitely missing the bigger picture.
GGoitse MajeThe hotel staff were very friendly, the place is quiet and not too busy. I enjoyed the swimming pool, but it can do with a little bit of cleaning by removing insects and leaves that keep floating around. I enjoyed my stay and willing to go back ❤️
MMakgasane MQuite clean rooms and accessories. A small refrigerator and larger closets would help for a more than 2 days stay; of course bearing in mind that it's a Road Lodge after all. Superb Wi-Fi! Excellent staff. Unpleasant stench emanating from dagga smokers infiltrates the Road Lodge premises and facilities/some rooms from the adjacent BP car wash facility reported on the Road Lodge RATE YOUR STAY platform.
Sun City is a large resort with lots to do on site for all the family. This was a short visit and I had a pleasant stay. The resort site is big but transport is provide around the grounds. The room is a good size and was suitable for our needs. The food at breakfast had a lot of choice and staff very helpful. The restaurant was busy at breakfast but the queue for food was not too bad. There are a choice of restaurants you can choose from and also valley of the waves is popular if you have children. I also did the safari and this was an enjoyable part of the trip.
La Bastide Jasmine is such a lovely room with scenic views. However, the following was an issue. The hot water tap in the shower was more Luke warm, and the next morning we had no hot water. No tea in the room, only coffee sachets. The room is big enough for a queen size bed, the double bed is a bit small. I won't book this room again, if I know there are people staying right above you. You can hear every part of the conversation, dropping things on the floor and every toilet flush. The bathroom barn door in Jasmine rattles when the people above walk up and down. They did not care that there were people below. Please work on sound proofing Jasmine's roof.
