A really good experience and service in the refurbished Sun City hotel. Love the rooms. The breakfast was delicious. Legends restaurant included. Well worth the price! You have stepped up so well done. Only fault the aircon vent panel fell during the night

I stayed in the revamped hotel and were seriously disappointed. For the price (R7k per night) is lacking in many crucial aspects. 1. Never heard back from manager even though I requested it three times. Shows the level of care. 2. Internet speed is very slow. Unheard of in this age. 3. Gym is not a gym, it's couple of treadmills and equipment in a storage room (no view, fans and hotel carpet?!?!). Furthermore wanting to charge staying guests R 80 a visit. 4. TV has NO channels, sport or anything to watch. You can log in with your own Netflix account. Due to slow internet speed the quality is not fast. 5. The family rooms extra beds were not made up as requested. 6. Views were really marred by the reconstruction. It's a great hotel and venue, but the lack of caring and the price makes this quite the ripoff.

I had an amazing gentlemen assist me at check in, I was expecting an incredible stay at the Suncity hotel, but unfortunately it was unpleasant and a rather terrible weekend. The housekeeping and maintenance is terrible at the hotel, upon checking into our rooms the toilet was messed with someone’s poop not flushed messed on top of the toilet as well, we called housekeeping repeatedly even left and came back it was still not cleaned had to physically find someone to clean it. The bathroom sink did not drain as something was stuck in it, that took hours to sort out, the room when serviced on two occasions was not replenished with towels, tissues or water. Our room cards deactivated on sat that took hours to sort out, numerous calls and trips to reception. When checking out no porter avail for our bags, one receptionist at check out was too busy on the phone, I love staying at the hotel but unfortunately this stay was disappointing to say the least

On arrival only one of our rooms was ready. This being said we checked in after 14:00 Nonetheless, we went swimming and came back after 16:00 to get our other key for the room. The key didn't want to open the door, we went back to reception and they scanned the card and said we must try again. Scan the card - not working again.  Went downstairs and they said they will send someone to look at the door.  Nevermind all this up and down we struggle to get into the room for two hours. Eventually our door was sorted out.  On Thursday morning 01:00 the morning I was busy feeding my 7 week old baby. I felt something crawling on me and put on the lights. My baby was covered in ants. He was sleeping on the couch. I phoned reception and they put me through to housekeeping.  They said they will come and look. Few moments after that they phoned back and said they can't do anything we have to wait till the morning? Now this is UNACCEPTABLE! Baby covered in ants and I must wait till the morning?  I went down to reception and told them what is going on. Eventually someone came and just took away the towl with ants... and offered a baby cot.  With this - we could have moved to the six floor , but really with a baby 1  o'clock in morning and what about the other room with family in?  I also asked when we came there for a baby bath - because 3 weeks ago we wer3 also there and my 1 year old slipped in the shower because we can't get a room with a bath.. I had to phone multiple times and the bath only came after 8 the evening?  Our experience at Sun City Hotel was HORRIBLE!! We always stay there - and no issues....but this time....HORRIBLE.  Staff members that doesn't want to help you, constantly have to ask for something and waiting hours.  We stayed in room 516 and 517 - both rooms have ants.  3 weeks ago we stayed in room 604 - same problem. Ants by the coffee station.  

Book in at the Main Hotel. Wait about 10 minutes in the queue for service.Call Duty Manager to assist.

Hotel rooms are old and in urgent need of attention. Breakfast was poor. Location is fantastic but it hides a multitude of problems. At R5k per night, not worth it at all.

Hotel is undergoing renovations and the lift and reception area does not look great due to renovations including the parking. Passing all the rooms are very nice looking very luxury with state of the art amenities, 40 inch TV with various Apps to watch movies etc. I found DSTV to be a bid slower at times. Breakfast was nice with all the english breakfast options. Wifi speed was acceptable

Worst experience at exorbitant prices. Rooms unmaintained, leakages everywhere including damp carpet, bathroom leaks between floors, had all my toiletries makeup and a Chanel bag destroyed by a leakage and was relocated to another property and room less for an entire day and night. The wheat part was no one could help or knew what they were doing. I am in utter shock.
