The lady who manages on site was very helpful and friendly making our trip that little bit better

Had a wonderful and welcoming stay. The place is clean and everything on point. The stuff attends to all needs ad very swiftly, recommending it to anyone . I would recommend coming through with your own knife as they didn't have a sharp one.

We only stayed for one night, as we were attending a function at another venue close by. The only criticism I have is regarding access from the main gate (on the road). When we came back (at around 23:00 at night), my phone's battery was dead and we did not have a charger in the car. I therefore could not phone the number we had been given to get in. Fortunately (but this was a bit concerning from a security point of view), the gate was open and we could get in. The room we stayed in was perfect for our requirements. Very clean and neat, no problem with hot water for 2 people. Definitely recommended!!

Our stay was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The road in and out can be a challenge for 2 vehicles to pass each other. We stayed in the cottage, please move the small sement table away from the plants in the corner. Would have been nice to be able to use it.

The room was exactly what we were looking for. The service was good and we enjoyed our stay.

La Bastide is a charming guesthouse nestled in the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains. I had the pleasure of staying there for an overnight trip and was impressed with the service. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Here are some of the things I loved about La Bastide: The gardens are peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect for exploring the Magaliesberg Mountains. I would definitely stay at La Bastide again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway.

The room we booked looked like a dream..breathtaking Zodwa I think it's Her name went over and above to make sure our stay was great Even the cleaning lady was so sweet The place is beautiful and peaceful . My family had an amazing time

We recently spent a weekend at La Bastide. What a beautiful setting! We needed some peace and quiet and that's what we got. Sitting on the porch in the early morning and watching the birds was what was needed to restore the soul. And the bonus was the owls in the owl box outside out cottage, with babies. Thank you! We will be back!

Staying at La Bastide for two days was everything we could ask for. We were accommodated in Pecan Tree Cottage, which is really stunning. Lovely linen and towels and ample kitchen appliances and crockery for a comfortable stay. Literally a home away from home. On arrival we were welcomed by Zodwa; after telling her that we are bird lovers she immediately showed us the spotted eagle owl pair in the tree. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely lush garden watching the amazing birds and also around the pool which was a lifesaver in the heat. We will certainly visit again! Thank you David and Gwen.
