"Fantastic location, easily walkable to the main attractions and Syntagma Square for airport buses. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We truly enjoyed our stay at Plaka Hotel."

"I recently stayed at Breeze Boutique Hotel for 15 nights. While the location is convenient and the hotel is generally clean, there were a few issues that negatively impacted my experience. Upon arrival, I encountered a serious problem with my reservation. I had booked 15 nights through Trip.com and had received a confirmation with a valid reservation number. However, the hotel’s system only showed a 2-night booking. Despite showing my booking confirmation, the front desk did not accept it and told me I had to email Trip.com to resolve the issue myself. After several emails and much back-and-forth communication, Trip.com eventually sent a confirmation that the hotel finally accepted, and the situation was resolved. Additionally, the rooms are not well soundproofed. Street noise easily comes through the doors and windows, making it difficult to sleep at night, especially for light sleepers. Another issue was with the elevator. When you were inside and it moved up or down, it made a noise that was quite disturbing. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts and understand that booking errors can happen, I believe better coordination with booking platforms and improved sound insulation in the rooms—as well as reducing elevator noise—would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. "Hotel itself is decent, i expected a bit more for the price. It is fairly clean and cozy, but very basic. Shower has no sliding door or curtain, so the floor is covered in water after every shower. One morning there was no hot water. Also, there noise coming from the pipes is extremely loud. Everytime the upstairs floors flushed the toilet, it sounded like a bunch of rocks being dropped down the pipes, and it woke me up in the mornings. Service was okay, friendly and extremely fast check-in/out. The main issue is the location. Although it is near a central spot, and good walking distance from many attractions, but the street itself is a disaster. There are homeless ************ outside directly in front of the hotel, ***** ***** all night. It is definitely not safe to walk alone at night. If safety is a concern, i cannot recommend staying at this hotel. Besides that, the stay itself is fairly comfortable."

"Location is good and accessible to cafe, shops, metro stations and walkable to Acropolis. This hotel is located at the flea market. Need to walk the main street instead of the back lance. Hotel staff is friendly and service is good. They arranged us to have breakfast early at 6am as we are catching a early flight."

Its a simple hotel in a good location close to Metro, also has an restaurant facility downstairs Air con worked well, thought I think the filters need cleaning which is general maintenance. "My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon. The service was polite, friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast was inexpensive and very good. I hope to stay there again next time I am in Athens."

"Our 2-night stay at this hotel in Athens was satisfying in terms of facilities and cleanliness, even though the location wasn't the best. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've arrived at a truly nice hotel. The view from its balcony makes you feel that you're exactly in Athens as it looks towards its streets. The receptionist was helpful and provided a luggage storage area for us on our check-out day. It met our expectations and I would recommend it, but keep in mind that it's located in the backstreets of Athens. You are likely to encounter homeless people and some sketchy individuals, so just be aware of the surroundings before booking. Thanks!"

"Many attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. The connection to the airport via Metro 3 is excellent. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, and bakeries near hotel. But my small room in the 2nd fl. was surprisingly quiet and well air-conditioned. The surrounding is not very nice but it was quite O.K. for value of price."
