"Nice and welcoming hotel just a few minutes walking from Victoria metro station. Very friendly and helpful front desk😊. The room itself was clean, quiet (facing the courtyard) and the AC worked well. 2 downsides for me are the mirrors everywhere in the room, too much and a small fridge didn’t work. I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel as there are a lot of small cafes just around the corner. And St. George's square was a real delight! Authentic, delicious and cheap meals at the sunset."

"혼자 아테네 여행을 위해 깨끗한 숙소를 예약했는데 ᆢ 다 쓰러진 슬럼가에 새로 지어진 건물인데 호텔은 모든것이 깨끗했다. 조식도 종류는 몇가지없지만 나쁘지않다. 그러나 5시이후에는 골목길이 무서워서 다닐수없고ᆢ 시내번화가에서 20분쯤 걸어 들어와야한다. 공항버스에서 내려서 오는 길이 매우 나쁘고 ᆢ 결국은 공항 갈때는 택시를 이용했다. 40분~50분거리에 45~50유로를 요구한다. 통행료도 있고 어쩌고~~하는데 지하철을 타려고 했던 나는 40유로에 흥정해서 안막히는 시간에 그돈만 주고 공항으로왔다. 다시 아테네에 간다면 교통이 더 좋은 신타그마쪽으로 잡을듯하다."

MMaxThe Location of this Hotel is amazingly convenient, the room is clean and well sized and one of the key highlights was that they took note of the special comment: It was me and my wife's honeymoon and they prepared something small but a special and sweet gesture for us that really set them apart. We stayed at this hotel as part of a greater Honeymoon trip around Greece and Turkey, by time time we got to AD Athens Luxury Room and Suites, they were our 4th stop for the honeymoon. We were at Cappadocia, Mykonos, Santorini prior all the hotels with about 3-4 days stay. When doing the booking, I made a note to indicate that this was our honeymoon trip hoping to get a small special surprise for my wife (she didn't know) something like, flower petals on the bed, or a towel that was nicely folded into a special design. Honestly nothing big or fancy. The other 3 hotels in the stops prior, I booked even more ”luxurious” rooms, spending up to $700 SGD a night at one of the locations but none of them ever did a small gesture to commemorate our special trip. Kudos to the Team at AD Athens for their attention to detail, it really means alot to me and my wife, we even brought back the Champagne Cork to remember this gesture. Apart from their service, the location and cleanliness of the room is top standard. It was our first time in Greece so we were abit more cautious and arranged an airport transfer with the hotel (you can do that they will help you seamlessly execute it) but on hindsight, we should have just taken the subway. It is literally right outside the station and by the Parthenon site, making it really accessible to food options, sight seeing and even shopping. Definitely a great hotel for first timers in Athens and I have no complaints about my stay.

ผผู้เข้าพักMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's. Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels. The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild. They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc. MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world. The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

ผผู้เข้าพักGreat location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.

ผผู้เข้าพักPlaka Hotel Stay: Jan 20th to Jan 30th Rm 511 My second time stay. Enjoyed my stay to the hilt. Staff very friendly. House keep was excellent. Used Plaka as my base to visit the Islands, wandered the Peloponnese and local markets. I would like to especially thank Miss ”Eva” of front desk. She is the star at the breakfast room in the morning as she chimes ” Kala Mera”. Politely comes to the table asking about any help we wanted or any tips to visit a place of interest or any discomfort the previous day with which she could help. She was genuinely interested in helping. Her multicultural knowledge including multi language capability was very valuable in easy conversation. She is a great asset to Plaka Hotel. Her colleagues at the front desk including the gentlemen were very friendly and we felt that we were returning home as we came back in the eve and were greeted with smiles. One disconcerting aspect of the elevators in Plaka hotel was the offending smell that emanated sometime. And one suggestion to the management is to add sliders under the furniture legs on the roof restaurant as they keep moving it late in the night causing noise. But it did not take away from our enjoying the stay. Thanks to Plaka Hotel for a delightful stay of ten days. We will come back next year. Looking forward! R. V (NJ US)

ผผู้เข้าพักThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

ผผู้เข้าพักStunning hotel in a great location, close to hop on hop off bus stops and other attractions. Roof top is fabulous, great views and comfortable. Breakfast really varied and delicious. Welcome champagne on arrival was a really welcoming touch. I was able to check in early and out late which I really appreciated. Would 100% book this for my next stay in Athens

ผผู้เข้าพักThe service as expected from greek people was excellent and helpful The hotel location is close to the center and was quite satisfying facilities were good, a bit crowded at breakfast time at the first day we had a problem with shower water, leaking out of the door which made the bathroom floor very wet but the problem was fixed immediatly we had mosquitos in the room and after complaining they provided us with mosquito trap, the thing with mosquitos is critical since my daughter skin is very sensitive and every bite can turn into awful inflammation which what exactly happened to her. on the last day there was no hot water, so i had to take shower in slightly warm water.
