"Here are my reviews for turi beach resort, as my first time solo travellers. The locals are nice, the location is good too. With welcome drinks once you check in the hotel( which i did not drink as i was busy checking in but looks delicious 🤤). It was good to unwind, to relax your mental health. The staff gave me a nice room which made me more appreciated. The only thing I'm not okay with is there is no lotion in the room which makes me a little bit sad as i expected to have one. But the overall experience is good. I love the place and the staff are friendliness. I also love the sunset and sunrise . Especially at the island bar restaurant.I will definitely come back there"

"Wonderful Stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall – Highly Recommended! This was our second stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall and once again, it exceeded our expectations. I booked through Trip.com as it offered the best rates compared to other platforms and the experience was seamless from start to finish. We stayed from 23–26 May 2026 as a family of 3 adults and 2 young children (aged 4 and 3). This time, we booked a 1-Bedroom Executive and an Executive King with connecting rooms, which was perfect for both family bonding and privacy. The location is excellent—directly opposite Grand Batam Mall, making shopping, dining and entertainment incredibly convenient. Our kids especially enjoyed Kidzlandia & Batam Zoo Paradise! The hotel is also next to Eska Wellness Spa where you can enjoy massages, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. Even before arrival, the service was impressive. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp for a few special requests and the staff were professional, responsive and genuinely accommodating. What we loved most about the 1-Bedroom Executive: • Spacious and spotlessly clean room • 2-in-1 washer and dryer — extremely convenient for families • Kitchenette with microwave & fridge • Hot and cold water dispensers available at every lift lobby • Kids’ pool that our children absolutely loved • Plenty of storage space • Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, and more • Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety to choose from This time, we were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary hi-tea, which made our afternoons extra special. Every staff member—from the front desk and housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters and bellboys—provided exceptional service with warmth and friendliness throughout our stay. Our family truly enjoyed every moment here and we will definitely be coming back again. "Overall, really really satisfied with this place! Booked this hotel with my family of 4. Firstly, the room we book is definitely big enough of all of us :) To be able to have dinner on a table, and having 2 toilets, is really great! SUPER big shoutout to the hotel breakfast - it is one of the best I've ever seen. Absolutely huge, and have probably everything you may expect of a southeast asian breakfast :) Regarding location, yes there are not a lot of things you can do within walking distance, but there is a small mini mart just 3 minutes walk away if you want to grab some snacks or drinks. They also provide shuttle bus service to some selected malls - which is great! We did use this service to Grand Batam Mall :) You will have to inform the concierge beforehand just so they can make sure the mini bus will have enough seats for everyone. However, a slight disappointment happened after - after we arrived at Grand Batam Mall, the driver asked if we would like a ride back later (which is so kind of him), I told him I'm not so sure yet - if I'll need one, I'll send a Whatsapp to their front desk. 30 minutes before I decided to book the mini bus back, I sent a Whatsapp which no one replied, so ended up booking a gojek back to the hotel 30 minutes later. Which makes me wonder if what was the point of the hotel having a Whatsapp haha! It would have been nice if someone replied, even if rejecting me for last minute booking, which I am totally fine with :) Nonetheless, thats the only small point I think the hotel can improve on. The rest of the staff are SOOOO friendly!!! The facilities in the hotel (gym, pool, restaurants) are also clean, looks new, and high end as these are shared facilities with the neighbouring Wyndham Panbil (5 stars). I will 100% recommend everyone to come here, and I would love to return again some day ^^"

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"Stayed one night at Wyndham Panbil Batam and it turned out to be a really relaxing stay. The property is tucked away from the busy areas, so it feels quieter and more like a proper retreat. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice garden view that adds to the overall calm vibe. Bed was comfortable and the room felt well-maintained. What stood out more was the environment — greenery, peaceful surroundings, and a slower pace compared to the city side of Batam. Good place if you just want to disconnect for a bit. Service was decent and staff were friendly. Facilities are quite complete as well, so you can easily spend time within the hotel without needing to go out. Only thing to note is the location — it’s not near the main shopping or food areas, so you’ll need transport if you plan to move around. Overall, a good option if your goal is to relax rather than explore."

"The owner said Tv had only netflix and youtube. And no Netflix account. But when i adjust the antenna. There's normal tv channel available. She wont entertain calls. Only whatsapp test. Hate this type of people"

"Very good for staycation. Quiet, Good View, Fresh Air and Swimming pool accessible, Near to the Tiger beach and the hotel provide shuttle service to there, Rooms are clean but the floor is dusty.  Overall, it was a good choice and satisfied though it’s a bit far from the city."
