Terrible stay at Katara HELSS , checked in and found in villa cockroaches. In “fancy” restaurant Gymkhana there are cats, and it makes my degustation process uncomfortable !!! It’s not hospitality, I will never comeback again

Katara Hills LXR is by far one of the most exclusive resorts I have visited in Doha. The villa is spacious, the pool is amazing, and every small detail is crafted to provide a high end stay. What really stood out was the cleanliness and the way the villa was prepared upon our arrival. At the reception, we were warmly welcomed by Alaa, a very professional and friendly person, who greeted us and thoroughly explained what we needed to know to make the best out of our stay.

Best experience ever with wonderful staff specially Wael is very friendly and kind. Most importantly they are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel comfortable. thank you for everything

The villas are huge with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool is a true luxury! There's a full bathroom with a rainfall shower on each floor. The bed was comfortable and the separation between the villas meant it was very quiet at night. Antony in the front office contacted me before my arrival to record any dietary restrictions or preferences for my stay (pool temperature, etc); he also made sure my stay went smoothly once I checked in. The huge spread of welcome snacks and sweets was a nice surprise! I had breakfast from Gymkhana delivered to my villa; the "Oriental" breakfast was a huge spread and incredibly tasty. I'd love to return to Katara Hills Doha in the future with my family.

After a long flight into Qatar we enjoyed the time in this very nicely setup Villa with a large pool. The two story setup of the Villa was very nicely done and featured home automation to run the various controls of the unit. The pool had a temperature control as well.

Resort is amazing 🥰, hospitality is superb. I visited with my friends. Gymkhana food is so tasty and view from the villa side it was full panoramic view of katara. Special thanks to sagar and niroshan to make our visit wonderful. I am sure i will come back.

I visited Gymkhana restaurant in January 2024 with my family, we couldn’t first locate the location exactly due to GPS difficulty, so I made a call, and the hostess Somaya perfectly directed me to the location. When we arrived, the parking was available just in front of the door. Somaya herself was at the door with a great welcome. She showed us the options of the inside and outside tables, and she helped us by arranging a bigger table on the spot we chose. She was informative, well-knowledgeable, and the one who natively spoke our language, which was so useful to my family. The view was very nice even from the inside we did enjoy it. The atmosphere was amazing, and the light was relaxing. The menu was easy to follow, not the one you get lost going through. The food was fresh and delicious. I was careful with my choice to have a great time with my family, and I can say without a doubt that it exceeded my expectations. I thank Gymkhana’s staff, especially Somaya, for the excellent service and the enjoyable experience. I am looking forward to dining there on my next visit to the city.
