ผผู้เข้าพักThis is a hidden gem not far from Hangzhou City. There are a variety of accommodations including top end tree houses with fantastic facilities including a bath and jacuzzi, and well maintained campsites.
There is a pool - it was not available on my visit but it looks like it will be a great asset when it is open.
The restaurant made us some delicious traditional dishes for dinner and breakfast was plentiful and varied. All of us had sufficient to choose from for a party of 7 adults and 7 young boys.
Gege was an amazing host and cook but all of the staff were fantastic, helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much for them to make our stay great.
Definitely will be going back.
To top it all we saw a sun halo on Sunday morning while relaxing at the pool area.
DdodgyExcellent restaurant and breakfast. Rooms are modern and clean, the only issue is a personal issue with smoking in the main bar, just is unacceptable for me, but thats more a location issue.
FFilipe C.We really felt in Italy! Rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part was the staff and the kitchen chef, they were amazing and really friendly, did their best to make us comfortable. Specially and great thanks to Aimee she was the best and always ready to help us with everything that we needed. The hotel amenities like the archery and mini golf gave us a nice experience, the outdoor swimming pool and mini golf could use some maintenance, but nothing to complain. We had a great time.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe location is the best thing about this place. You can take easy, kid-friendly strolls or go trekking in the hills and cliffs just a short walk from the hotel. It’s surrounded by postcard views — no wonder it’s often used for weddings.
The pool has a beautiful view and is relatively clean, but the sunbeds were dusty and dirty. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 8 p.m., but by 7:30 p.m. there was hardly anything left to order. The menu is just an A4 sheet with small, dense text, hard to read and not very inviting.
The hotel grounds have many nice spots, but most look somewhat abandoned. We also saw a staff member smoking and throwing a cigarette on the ground next to the pool. The room was spacious and overall fine, but during the holidays the price was 50% higher than usual — not justified by the experience.
I accidentally left my earbuds in the room, and nobody contacted me until I reached out myself. I appreciate that the hotel sent them to me, but it would have been a nice gesture to cover the small 13 RMB shipping fee. For a hotel charging 1,400 RMB per night, that kind of thoughtfulness makes a difference.
This place definitely has potential, but it hasn’t been developed.
ผผู้เข้าพักStaying in Shaoxing has been an absolute dream—especially at Floriette·Time Inn! Waking up and drawing the curtains felt like stepping into a Jiangnan watertown straight out of a Chinese textbook. Stone bridges arched over crystal-clear canals, while black-canopied boats drifted lazily past my window. The boatman even waved and greeted me with a grin!
After a night of growling hunger, I rushed downstairs for a bowl of *Ciwu hand-pulled noodles*. Oh. My. Goodness. The chewy noodles had this perfect springy texture, and the broth was so rich it felt like my taste buds were doing backflips! I slurped up every last drop, instantly revived. No wonder—the owner said the noodles are hand-slapped by master artisans!
But the real MVP was the innkeeper—a walking Shaoxing travel encyclopedia! Over afternoon tea in the lobby, he’d mark up maps like a strategist: *”This pavilion in Shen Garden is where Lu You mourned Tang Wan—perfect for photos!”* *”The stinky tofu stall near Eight Characters Bridge? Third alley, blue awning.”* *”Bring a jacket for evening boat rides—canals get chilly.”* He even shared where to find the cheapest *huangjiu* (yellow wine) ice cream bars! It felt like staying with your most thoughtful relative—the kind of hospitality that deserves all the stars. This place redefined what I call ”those little moments of joy that make traveling so special.” Five stars? More like a whole constellation!
XXteroHome Inn is always a reliable choice wherever you go. This one was in a great location, near all sorts of food, shopping and entertainment. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Something was stolen from my motorcycle that night, which i hope isn’t a common problem there because the hotel itself was very good.
