EExploreWithMoFrom the moment I landed, I knew this stay would be special. I was collected from the airport in a luxury Jaguar , (completely free) and transported again at departure, including complimentary trips to and from the city centre. Actual VIP treatment from start to finish .... something I have never experienced anywhere else.
Because my flights didn’t match standard hotel times, the team kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which took away all travel stress and made my stay even more comfortable. That flexibility meant everything to me.
Every single staff member was amazingly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Although I sadly didn’t manage to catch the names of the wonderful ladies at reception, they were absolutely incredible and deserve huge praise. Special mention to Tomas — such a professional, friendly, standout member of the team. I later found out his birthday was on Thursday 4th, and I wish I had the chance to say Happy Birthday before I left!
The location is perfect — close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Porto while still enjoying a calm, comfortable stay.
The room was immaculate — spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully prepared. And the amenities were next-level:
Mini-bar, tea and coffee station with kettle, plush slippers, bathrobe, bottled water......everything thoughtfully provided. I was welcomed with a welcome drink on arrival, and a fresh fruit tray waiting in my room. Nothing felt standard, everything felt intentional.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. There is a clear sense of care, love, and purpose in every interaction and every small touch. You’re not treated like just another guest , you are genuinely looked after.
I honestly cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Hotel Jaguar Porto combines luxury service with real warmth and heart, a rare find.
If you’re heading to Porto and looking for an experience that goes far beyond accommodation, this is THE hotel to book.
100% recommended. I will absolutely be back. ✨👏

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of a lot of the areas of interest within Porto. The hotel itself it nicely decorated. The hotel rooms are compact, but the decor adds to the feeling of a boutique hotel. One of the best showers I have had in a hotel, powerful and easy to temperature control. The toiletries used were nice. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are fresh and spotless. Most of the reception staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are well equipped with good robes/umbrella/good hairdryer/coffee machine and capsules etc
There are a few things that the hotel could easily improve :
Breakfast is definitely not something I would recommend. The choices were poor, definitely not fresh or local, and the cost is high. There are many much better choices nearby.
The pillows were either a hard memory foam slab or a really lumpy soft pillow, surprising for the cost of accommodation.
It was very hard to get fresh milk for tea and coffee on arrival, we asked reception and at the bar they could not make one even though we discovered at breakfast that they had a machine and fresh milk and take away cups readily available.
The bar needs rethinking….it is the opposite of welcoming and the staff don’t make you want to stay. As there is no ‘lounge’ in the hotel, maybe this would be better utilised as a meeting place within the hotel.

ผผู้เข้าพักOur family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Faites attention l’hôtel enregistre votre carte bancaire et vous feront encore un prélèvement de 3€ sans votre consentement + la taxe de séjour, alors que dans d’autres hôtels 5 étoiles ils ne font pas cela.

UUrban VoyagerWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

ผผู้เข้าพักWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it is spacious, clean, quiet (at least at the floor we were; otherwise at another floor, it was much less quiet ... when passing by it, it was obvious - from the sound through the door - what was happening in one room) and easy to get to due to its close access to the tram (which can get us into the city).
The staff was dedicated (especially Carlos, really helpful, friendly, and attentive - we enjoyed discussing with him!)
Around the hotel you have different restaurants; their quality vary from very good (Taberna Londrina) to better-to-avoid (quite a bunch), there are also some supermarkets which need a bit of a walk before getting to them (15-20 min) but always great to know you have some not too far from the hotel.
Although people in Porto appreciate a lot gathering in the evening to discuss and drink, the neighbourhood is not too noisy during the middle of the night.
If we have another event happening in Porto, Eurostars - if they keep up with such good service - will definitely be the choice to live in again!

ผผู้เข้าพักWe booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours.
The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.
