We had 2 nights here, 11-13 July. We arrived late, between 10-11pm, and the counter staff was very friendly n helpful.
We did not manage to get dinner due to train delays but the front staff was kind to inform us that we could purchase some cold sandwiches and he would make sandwiches for us. 😊
The room price includes breakfast for which we were glad. We enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly.
The views from the hotel overlooking the St Ives beach is truly amazing. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained. You must walk through their walled garden … it is well landscaped and very beautiful. It felt like walking in some professionally well curated botanical garden. 👍🏼
Incredible views from the room! Spa was lovely and we enjoyed a few drinks at the beautiful bar all decorated for Christmas (: recommend the Cornish cream tea!
We stayed at st micheals for our anniversary weekend and loved it! We stayed in the delux king and it was a beautiful room with lots of space. The breakfast was a lovely cooked breakfast with lots of options of fruits and waffles, beautiful view too! The health spa was our favourite part which was included with the stay, great pool and sauna and gym (:
A lovely stay at the Falmouth hotel. Amazing location. Swift and easy check in. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was wonderful- a full buffet, just arrived early if you want everything piping hot/ ready to eat. Would stay here again. The pictures are of the beach across the road and the wonderful breakfast
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel itself was a great experience and we did enjoy the novelty of staying in the prison which I would recommend to anyone.
Upon arrival we were welcome by the team but very basic information was given, leading to us missing a tour of the hotel which we were told was included in the price. The manager then offered for one of the team to do a later tour for just the two of us which was cut short, very awkward and definitely not worth the money paid for. If we had been advised of the tour with the bigger group when checking in we may have had a better experience.
We decided to book dinner at the chapel to experience it as much as we could but dinner was poor. We had to wait for our table, 3 different people asked for our name before we sat down and then again a fourth person checked once we were sat down. With minimal staff on the service was poor to say the least and The burger ordered was pretty much raw, I did not finish it. Once we had finished no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or to look at a dessert menu. We left the restaurant with no one even there working! Not sure where the team had disappeared to.
Breakfast was good and would recommend it.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth truly stands out as an exceptional choice. Every single staff member is incredibly kind and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It's undoubtedly one of the best options in the area, especially for families with children, who also have a delightful time during their stay. The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, and convenient car park, making it a great choice for those driving. Additionally, it's only about a 20-minute drive to Hayle Bay and around 25 minutes to St. Michael's Mount, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend The Penventon Park Hotel for anyone visiting the area.
RR C RichardsDidn’t expect to be staying in a block of rooms which were pretty soulless. Wanted to go into the Hotel bar for a drink but because we didn’t have a meal booked, as wanted to go out to Portreath by the sea for food, we weren’t allowed in the bar for a drink from 6pm, it was cordoned off! so I have no idea what the hotel bar is like. So I feel for the money we paid we didn’t actually get to use any of the hotel. All we wanted was a drink in the bar with the view.
I won’t be rushing back.
ผผู้เข้าพักClean and tidy hotel. Friendly staff. We went for a special occassion but we just did not feel special at all no effort at all.
They can not say we did not tell them it was on the booking form, I was asked when I phoned to book a reservation in the restaurant and again when we checked in. Came away feeling very flat.
Food was well presented and tasted good. Had a lovely bottle of wine.
