The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im OKKO Hotel Strasbourg sehr genossen und würden das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein, aber für ein Paar vollkommen ausreichend. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist, dass im Flur jederzeit kostenlos gefiltertes, kaltes Wasser zur Verfügung steht. Auch unser Hund wurde sehr herzlich aufgenommen und durfte kostenlos mitkommen – das fanden wir besonders toll. Der Parkplatz befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel und wurde uns vom Hotel empfohlen. Dieser hat 15 € pro Tag gekostet, was für die Lage absolut in Ordnung war. Besonders schön fanden wir den Gemeinschaftsraum des Hotels. Dieser war immer sehr sauber und gemütlich. Dort konnte man Spiele spielen, Billard spielen und sich jederzeit kostenlos Kaffee, Tee, Wasser sowie kleine Snacks nehmen – alles bereits im Aufenthalt inbegriffen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Einkaufszentrum und direkt unterhalb des Hotels gibt es mehrere Geschäfte, Bars und auch einen Starbucks. Die Umgebung war sehr sauber und angenehm. Auch die allgemeine Sauberkeit im Hotel war wirklich sehr gut. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden das OKKO Hotel Strasbourg jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Ein tolles Hotel mit vielen kostenlosen Extras und einem sehr guten Gesamtkonzept.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience. The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing. We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating. In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.

This is the second time I have visited this hotel this year. The first time was in May and the second in December. I absolutely loved everything about the hotel the first time but the second time was a disaster. We were allocated the worst room in the hotel with a window that looked out onto a wall just a few feet away and the decor was rough and depressing. Thankfully they let us have a different room the following day but this should never have happened. There was a very brash tall lady who wore glasses on reception who was rude, ignorant and officious with me which spoiled my holiday. Restaurant staff, porters and housekeeping staff were great. We will never return I'm afraid. Gerry

no electric kettle or hair dryer. check in and front desk are only available from 5-8pm which may mean you have to schedule around it. luggage storage is not available after 8pm. no air conditioning in the room, and the outside noise is loud if you open the window (but the room provides a fan which i unfortunately did not see until the next morning). the location is a bit inconvenient, about 20mins from the city centre. at the very least, the service is warm and welcoming, but overall i would not book this place again.

Very welcoming check-in and in-house staff. Very good buffet breakfast for the price. The hotel is accessible in the town centre, as part of a new)-ish) development. The hotel rooms have air conditioning but these are mobile units in each room that have egress the windows. Noisy. Other than that, the hotel was good value.
