ผผู้เข้าพักJust a few points of feedback:
I paid for breakfast up front - which was meant to be open from 7am. However, what really happened was that breakfast (prepared by the Receptionist - who was very helpful) started to be prepared from 7am-ish. Coffee, microwave toastie, juice etc duly handed over in a paper bag (I was not the only one waiting) - but this was not ready 'till ~7.20am. Makes a difference if you need to eat and get on your way.
Also, £2.50 for the car-park - why? It's not the money - just the impression given.
The restaurant is Indian cooking - which I enjoyed. Waiter was pleasant and efficient.
Room was basic. Clean but a few cobwebs in the cupboards. No AC.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was clean and the single beds were absolutely huge. I made a mistake with my booking, but the hotel was incredibly helpful and very accommodating in making the necessary changes for me.
The location is good and the walk from the airport arrivals hall is short, but the route was a bit confusing—the signs could have been larger or placed more frequently along the way. Another minor downside was the bathroom shower, which was a bit impractical as water easily ended up all over the floor. Overall, the great service made it a very nice stay!
ผผู้เข้าพักMy experience here at Harlow hotel was amazing the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming nothing isnt to much breakfast is incredible as the dinner is to I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends family
PPSDIVAThe hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Stansted Airport. The room, while not particularly spacious for a family, was clean and well maintained. Reception staff were helpful and welcoming. However, breakfast and restaurant options for vegans or vegetarians (without egg) were rather limited.
One concern arose in the restaurant; a member of staff declined my son’s request to sit at a particular table, stating it was for five guests, though we were three. I explained that we would leave early if seated there, but the request was still refused. We accepted another table, yet later two guests were offered the same table, with the explanation that more people would join them. In fact, no additional guests arrived, and my son was disappointed that he had not been allowed to sit there. The restaurant was not particularly busy that day, which made the situation feel unnecessary.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel staff were very nice and kind. Upon arrival we had a lot of bags and the staff made sure we got a room on ground floor and there was a trolley to move our items at once.
We were indoors all the time so cleaning staff left our room to give us privacy. Next morning we requested to have our room cleaned and in 5 mins there was someone there to clean. So efficient!!
ผผู้เข้าพักI booked a last minute night away with the children: afternoon tea followed by an overnight. The afternoon tea was delicious and I was really well catered for as a vegan diner. The Grand Hall was a beautiful setting for afternoon tea. The children also loved their food - the sandwiches were much simpler for the children and they got seconds based on how delicious they were. Our room was large and had a sofa bed and a cot bed. We enjoyed playing in the grounds including the play area, outdoor chess, boules, the scavenger hunt and the fitness trail. My son also loved playing football in the garden - he was excited that there were goals set up. We had dinner in The Fox Bar and had drinks and played cards in the Grand Hall afterwards. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We were really excited to find newts in the pond. They would love to stay again. I would love to come for an overnight with my partner to experience it differently without the children.
