It was unfortunate our hairdryer in our room exploded noted accident do happen and we have to move room in the middle of the night but we do love the place and the service was friendly and we noted they try to address and resolve our issues immediately. But was not a very pleasant experience that I had to face unfortunately………
The unit/room was a 'back to the future' look with a large bathroom from the sixties with a sixties step in spa bath and taps from that era. But the whole unit was large with a separate bedroom and two beds in the main 'large' room. it was clean and what it lacked in modern fittings didn't stop it being a very comfortable stay. In this case you could swing at least two proverbial cats. Great 'Empire' grill restaurant attached. Great service, expensive but delicious food, but worth it for a one night of the year when you are not penny pinching.
Hotel is dated yet it still remained a well maintained and very comfortable hotel. We were given a corner room which was quiet and lovely. Good morning call service and very comfortable sleep. The only drawback is the location. It was not an easy walk from the airport and you may need to cross the road dangerously to do so. Hotel shuttle is convenient yet the trip to airport will be at a Costs of $3.
The place is very nice and may stay again in future.
My room F1 has queen size bed along with a single next to it and 2nd room with single beds.
Parking is right in front of door drive in of the highway and exit via the rear.
Beds don’t have have electric blankets and you don’t need them the Donna keeps you warm.
Our room was quite reasonable, however we were disappointed that the fridge had no freezer compartment. We have medication that needs to be kept cold while travelling, so have freezable ice bricks with us. We had to take these to reception and request that they be placed in a hotel freezer - this wasn't very convenient.
We asked the Receptionist about a major tourist attraction in town. She didn't seem interested in telling us.more about it, suggesting that we look it up on social media. She didn't think the hotel had any brochures on this attraction - we found one there and then followed up with the Visitor Information Centre in town.
Probably the most disappointing aspect of the hotel was the condition of the grounds. We had to walk through them to get to Reception. The garden is very neglected and the ponds throughout the garden are full of dirty stagnant water. We.would.not stay there again.
ผผู้เข้าพักVery easy check in. Instructions by reception were spot on.
The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.
The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.
JJace369I recently stayed at Novotel Melbourne on Collins, and overall it was a great experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, cafes, and public transport.
The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with large windows overlooking Collins Street. The bed was very cozy and ensured a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at check-in — they made everything smooth and welcoming.
Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. The gym and facilities were well-maintained, though the pool was a bit small.
Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure stays. The combination of great location, comfort, and professional service makes it one of the best value stays in Melbourne CBD.
