Really good for the money. I usually stay in budget places because I'm trying to save money. This is really nice compared to some of the other places I've stayed for the same money. It is a little tired, but the bathroom was recently renovated and it was clean and nice furnishings etc.
My tariff included breakfast which was a buffet of cereal, toast and a few cooked things (bacon, mushrooms, sausages, eggs etc). My only negative that it is on the corner of two busy roads so there is always traffic noise. It is close to a small shopping centre, and I had dinner at a nice persian restaurant across the road so those are all positives. There was parking when I arrived but it was quite full the next morning so I'm not sure whether it would ever be difficult to park.
This was an h expected surprise as we booked o it 24 hrs before check in. The place was amazingly located basically in the middle of the parklands, how's they get council approval for that?
Breakfast included was awesome as it's a disappearing amenity.
The room is small but it's not a concern as it has great style and didn't feel cramped for a couple.
This will be my future go to place for any future trip.
CClarrence LeoWe are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!
JJ.My brief one-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne left a positive impression. The hotel exudes a classic, luxurious feel, evident from the grand lobby to the well-appointed rooms. The location is undeniably excellent, placing you right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD with easy access to shopping and dining. While a short stay limited my ability to fully explore all amenities, the service was professional and efficient. The room was comfortable and considered quiet, ensuring a restful night. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Melbourne offers a reliable and upscale experience for those seeking a central and comfortable stay.
ผผู้เข้าพักVery easy check in. Instructions by reception were spot on.
The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.
The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.
