After reading the description on the hotel website, seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, I have to admit that we were quite disappointed. We booked the „Royal Bungalow“ located directly at the private beach of the resort for 3 nights . The description promised: „With only 4 Royal Bungalows available, you’ll experience a heightened level of privacy and personalized service during your stay.“ We did not experience any personalized service or privacy. The beach was very crowded and noisy and people were having their picnic directly in front of our veranda. We also had the impression that there were quite a few day-guests at the beach. On the second night, the dinner was at the beach in front of our bungalow, with music blasting until 9pm, which wasn’t so nice with little children who wanted to sleep. On the third day, there was even a bouncing castle with a noisy motor next to the veranda (see pictures for the view from our bungalow). Our understanding of privacy and exclusivity differs considerably from what we experienced. Also, on the first day, our bungalow was only cleaned at 5 pm, even though we put the „please clean“ sign at 9:30. In addition, the service during dinner and breakfast was not very pleasant. The staff was not very attentive and our order for drinks was forgotten at 3 different occasions. There was not even a word of excuse when we kindly asked were our order was. Maybe it was because the main restaurant was closed for renovations and food was always served either at the beach or the pizza restaurant. After the first night, we asked whether it was possible to reserve a table for the next two nights, which was kindly promised to be arranged. Unfortunately, on both nights they forgot about it.
On the plus side, there were 2 shows during our stay during dinner, which was pretty cool and there is always life music. The Oyster bar at the beach is great and the staff there was amazing. Also, the gym is good and there are 3 pools at the resort, one with a slide, which tb kids really enjoyed. The resort itself is very nice designed work small huts and a lot of green. Also, upon request, they extended the offer to a complementary airport transfer as this would have been included in a booking via Their website (and not via trip.com).
One last thing, which I found quite strange was that - even though we had a full board offer via Trip.com - they tried to charge all buffet food (apart from breakfast) to us. I don’t know whether this was on purpose or just bad management, but it kinda added to the overall not too great experience. Once they adapted then the bill, they tried to charge the airport transfer - overall I felt quite uncomfortable during the check-out.
To summarise: It was okay to stay there, the resort is nice. The service did not really live up to the promise. You should be aware that it is quite a large resort.
The hotel is very nice and the room is very big.One thing is they don’t have lotion, cleansing etc..I don’t know maybe I just used from other hotel or another country like Japan that they provide all the skin care and other stuff like headband, shower cap and many more.Anyway, the hotel is very near in Ayala Mall and other places,so it’s very convenient. So far the hotel is very good and the staff have a good service.
EXCELLENT AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATION. My mother checked in a couple of days just before Christmas as she had to undergo an important medical check up at the Cebu Doctors Hospital which is just a two-minute walking distance away. This hotel is the newest addition to hospitality facilities within the Capitol Site area. Although dubbed “mini” in size, the room is visibly spacious for double occupancy, provided with very clean private toilet with hot and cold bath, open type clothes cabinet with shelves for things, and a built-in safety deposit box. Their dining area, which is accessible by stairs or by elevator at the second floor, serves free breakfast, affordable combo meals, and free drinking water to fill the pitcher in the hotel room. The dining hall also has a billiards table and entertainment area. Being located in the heart of the bustling City of Cebu, a traveller can transact business with nearby Government offices, stroll and score one’s favorites at popular shopping malls of Ayala, SM, and Robinsons, dine at restaurants just beside the hotel, and explore notable tourist spots within and beyond the city. For those traveling with vehicles, there is also a huge and secured parking area located just obliquely across the hotel. Highly recommended for family, workers, students, and business travelers alike who value excellent affordable accommodation.
We enjoyed our overnight stay at Savoy. The staff are very accommodating, the room is clean as well as the surroundings. Fast food/ stalls (jollibee, mcdo, 7eleven, starbucks, etc.) are also very accessible.
I enjoy my stay with Maayo Hotel. The amenities is great, thr location is good too. I can see the Mactan Bridge as well as the sea. They have a pool and I enjoyed my time swimming in there. 10/10 for Maayo!
Near to the airport. Has free shuttle to alona. Value for money. Spacious room. We have all we need. Staff are nice and breakfast was good, included in the booking. Great location!
Radisson Blu Cebu made a strong impression on us from the moment we arrived. The reception team was genuinely welcoming and efficient—one of those check-ins that immediately sets the tone for a smooth, comfortable stay.
Breakfast was a daily highlight. There were plenty of delicious options to choose from, so everyone in the family could find something they loved. The omelette station deserves special mention: the chef was not only friendly and fast, but truly outstanding—hands down the best omelette experience I’ve had at any hotel. It sounds like a small detail, but it made mornings feel a little more special.
We also tried the lunch and dinner buffets, and they were spectacular. The selection was generous, the presentation was inviting, and everything we tasted felt thoughtfully prepared. It’s the kind of buffet that actually feels like part of the vacation rather than just a convenient meal.
What really stood out overall was how well the hotel works for both individuals and families. The atmosphere is relaxed and polished without being stiff, and our family enjoyed every bit of our time there. It felt easy to settle in, unwind, and just enjoy being together.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. The hotel is right next to SM Cebu City Mall—literally just across the road—which was incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and last-minute needs. We also found it easy to get to other major malls like Ayala Center Cebu and Robinsons Galleria, so getting around for errands or leisure was never a hassle.
All in all, Radisson Blu Cebu delivered on service, food, comfort, and convenience. I’d highly recommend it—especially for families looking for a reliable, enjoyable stay in Cebu.

ผผู้เข้าพักI had a recent overnight stay at Fili Hotel Cebu with my wife and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good facilities.
Service was polite and efficient, though not particularly standout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and good presentation, but the flavors were fairly average and leaned towards the safe side.
Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, though it falls a bit short of being truly memorable.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis place was amazing. I don't write reviews but I have too for this place. Staff was very friendly even the gardeners were friendly, and the service was amazing. From all the places I stayed in Cebu this is our favorite.
GGabby TMy family and I only stayed for a night but it was a fun experience. There are a lot of pools and activity areas. All the pools were about knee to a bit above the waist high which was okay, I'm assuming it's for the safety of the kids since there are a lot of families with children in the resort. We also enjoyed the food(room service and breakfast buffet), but we were a bit disappointed with the dessert since the pastries were a little dry and bland. The drinks however, were good and enjoyable.
Service was really nice, everyone always greeted us with a smile and was attentive to our needs.
Wifi is free and so far we have had no problem with the speed.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean. Though I felt our experience was a bit lacking since there were a few toiletries that were not provided, like room slippers, cotton buds and cotton, a comb, etc. Also the cable was not good so staying in the room to relax would feel a little boring. Also, you only get 1 free request for ice and the next has a payment. But they do provide free water which is refillable and they also offer free instant coffee and tea.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I would still love to come back next time.
