Really happy with this hotel. Booked it last minute when I was late for my ferry and did not want to travel during the night.
The room was really clean and tidy. Receptionist Mauricio (?) was very pleasant and helpful. As I was not planning to stay in Dublin overnight, I had no toothbrush. I did not think that Travelodge can provide one, but there is no shame in asking. Hooray! I got a disposable dental kit, that really made my stay much more comfortable.
The hotel has a bar and a restaurant, it does look much more posh that an average travelodge. I wanted some ice for my drink at the room. Got a glass full of ice at the bar with no problem.
The only downside could be if you are a couple and travelling with 2 or more large suitcases. The room is on a smaller side.
Very happy with my last minute decision to stay at this hotel.

Hotel a little tired looking but serviced its purpose. Location was good for nightlife and access to Oylimpia theatre.
Unfortunately being single glazed there was a lot of early traffic noise although earplugs had been provided. Room was very hot despite turning of the radiator when we arrived.
Bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom could do with an upgrade, showering was difficult due to positioning of shower head and curtain making the space very small.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin and found its location on O'Connell Street to be exceptionally convenient for exploring Dublin's main attractions.
However, the breakfast experience was underwhelming. Additionally, the lobby area felt cramped during peak times, making it less inviting for relaxation.
While the hotel's central location is a significant advantage, improvements in breakfast offerings and lobby comfort would enhance the overall guest experience.

Apart from excellent location, the service rendered by the staffs was impeccable. I wld like to specially highlight a few names namely Emily and Anna from Front Desk, both were patient, friendly and cheerful and always going out of their way to help with any queries we have. Another person is Ms Marcello from F&B who is amicable and always chatting with us during our breakfast. Last but no least, Samson and his brother, both from Security team who are always ready to assist with older guests who had problems lifting their luggages up the flight of steps to the lift landing. Overall we stayed 8 nights and it has been an amazingly awesome experience that made us feel very welcomed. Kudos to the team for their warm hospitality and bringing the Holiday Inn Express brand to a higher level. Keep up your excellent work. Cheers!

The location is PERFECT. My first time visiting Dublin and it was literally seamless because of this hotel, the location is supreme, the coffee shop downstairs is so comfortable and makes legitimately good coffee. The room was the perfect size for me and my sister. The bathroom is a great size and the beds were extremely comfortable. The washing machine in the room was also very convenient. Staff were really helpful and overall this was amazing service!
Everything in central Dublin is walking distance and you are extremely close to the tram/Luas too

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!
ผผู้เข้าพักCannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were available around the clock to cater to our every need and made this such a special trip. Thank you so much
ผผู้เข้าพักThe man at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming as soon as my friends and I arrived. The rooms were kept especially clean throughout our entire stay. The friends I traveled with also ate at the breakfast and said the price was fair because the buffet was so good. 10/10 stay. Also just a ten-ish minute ride downtown and airport.
CCeitidhExcellent hotel and very friendly staff. There is a shuttle to the airport that the reception staff will book for you upon check in. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you have an early flight the next day.

ผผู้เข้าพักMy husband and I had been planning this trip to Dublin for quite some time. And when we found this beautiful boutique hotel online, we were so excited. As soon as we arrived And checked in, there was a lot going on in the lobby area, so it was a little overwhelming. We saw a lady at the desk, but we weren’t sure that she actually worked there because she didn’t greet us. Didn’t even look our way. It seemed like she had a general disinterest or disdain for us being there. I asked, “Is this the front desk to the hotel?” To which she responded in a monotone voice, “Yes.” I was shocked that this was the first impression of the hotel that we were getting. What made it worse was that my husband was told that we needed to put a card on hold and he proceeded to tap his card thinking that it was like all the other places we had been to in Ireland. But it didn’t work. Several times he tapped it and it showed nothing. He asked the lady, “does your tap work? Do you have tap?” To which she replied a curt, “no.” Mind you, she was standing there the entire time and could see the entire situation. This interaction was such a bummer, and this made our short trip to Dublin feel a little sour.
To be honest, not all of the stuff was like that morning. We woke up to get a coffee downstairs, and the gentleman that works at the coffee bar was very warm. A young Spanish speaking man. He was absolutely amazing; patient and willing to answer any questions About the items on the menu And the different pastries available.
Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag. It had a very chic vibe but outside of that lovely gentleman, their customer service can definitely improve!
AAlexIt was a great stay overall. The location was perfect. It was near the center of Dublin. But was set in a quiet neighborhood just outside it. It is a doable walk to a park set along the water. I loved the Medieval Theme. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dual shower heads are a nice setup. .Request a view of the front of the hotel. The only potential negative is the distance from the airport and the train.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อI was left stranded at the airport late at night by Ryanair. Conrad was the only room I could book but when I arrived they were so welcoming and charming I felt very cared for. Thank you beautiful hotel!
GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside.
As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea!
The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall.
Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality.
The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors.
It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas.
We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was lovely and clean, bed was so comfortable, and I had control over the thermostat. Bathroom was large with good water pressure and complimentary robe, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cookies. The front desk woman was excellent at her job, even remembering my room number when I asked for access to the gym after checking in. Dinner at the Mayfly was quiet and delicious (fish and chips) and Katie was an excellent server. The gym appears to be recently redecorated but the machines are low-end, outdated concept 2 bikes and rowers and a strange non automatic (manual?) treadmill. The free weights were new and I preferred these to the machines. If strong cardio matters to you during your stay, spend more to stay at the Hilton with its Peloton contract. If not, stay here. Breakfast was a little odd. Granted I did walk in 9:35 when breakfast closes at 10, but as soon as I started taking food from the buffet a woman started clearing the condiments away. She also told me that coffee and tea were served table side but after asking someone for coffee, I was told “I’ll be with you shortly” and she never returned. I ended up serving myself the coffee from the carafe. I don’t mind a self-serve breakfast but management should doublecheck with the breakfast servers. I noticed that all of the other guests (men) had coffee, but I’m not sure if they, also, served themselves. All in all, it was a lovely and relaxing stay, and the room felt very lux. 4/5 stars
