This was a beautiful walk on the Towpath! Lots of shaded areas. Loved the scenery of the Potomac River running along side the Canal.Great adventure!

Easy access

It is right off the highway as you cross the Potomac between MD and Virginia. Very scenic and great for running.

Great trail and boat landing

This i one of the best places to park you car and walk the C&O tow path or take a walk up in to the town. This is also a great boat landing except the water can be a little fast sometimes.
