Love the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature. HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby. Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bali Hotel Ipoh! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a relaxing atmosphere that really lives up to its name. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The location is also excellent, close to plenty of food, attractions, and everything you need while exploring Ipoh. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality from the team. They made us feel right at home throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Ipoh. Highly recommended!

You can really see how this resort may have been magnificent 20 years ago but today, it does seem rather dated. Beautiful place, nonetheless. However, for a place whose amenities and services rely heavily on bookings (taking away from the spontaneity some may appreciate), the booking system is highly HIGHLY flawed - you'd have to always contact a staff member and there is no booking confirmation sent over via email or anything of that sort, leaving room for errors. That said, what the place lacks in technological upgrades, it makes up with the fantastic and friendly staff.

Hotel looks fresh and new with big lobby and friendly staff. Location is a bit far away from the city centre but is quiet and serene. I had the Junior suite which was nice except that they could not give me a King sized bed so had to make do with 2 single beds. Overall the stay was pleasant.
