Irish Film Institute Review

this is my new favourite place to go in Dublin. If you become a member you can get 10% discount on food and entry to great films. Its a great movie venue, coffee shop even restaurant. In fairness the food is not outstanding and my salad was soggy and other stuff also not great. The Pinot Grigot is great though, the house red was awful. The service is good and staff very friendly. Lorna makes great coffee's and Ryan is a delight. Rosie is always smiling. The independent movies and events they hold are worth the membership. Easy to get to even though I despise Temple Bar

My family and i were in the restaurant a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. The atmosphere was great. The food was gorgeous I had the lasagne and my parents had the fish. It was top class.the Staff were very friendly and answered any questions or queries we had. A member of staff I think his name was Robbie asked us were we members and because it was are first time there he told us about promotions and discounts that would apply if we became members. It would be a place we would visit again and my parents are going to become members the next time they visit

We stumbled across this cafe completely by chance. I was so excited to see vegan options on the menu. I was able to order tea with soya milk, and a lovely burger with chips. The food was well presented and tasty. The waited was also very friendly taking time to ask about our time in Dublin.

This was a good place to stop for lunch. We were just off the plane and finding our feet. It's right in Temple Bar and the food was simple. It's not going to win awards but they do serve great coffee. But it's the atmosphere which you want in a place like this as it is less touristy and the kind of place where locals hang out and from which to get a feel for the cultural side of Dublin life. Shame we didn't have time to stay for a film as there were a couple of things I'd liked to have seen.
