We stayed at the Holiday Inn Bristol Filton and were honestly really impressed! The room was super clean and had plenty of space for the two of us to unpack without tripping over each other's bags. The bed was massive with crisp white sheets, so we definitely slept well, and there was a huge TV that was perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring. I immediately claimed the cute sage-green armchair, but there was also a handy little desk when one of us needed to quickly hop online. The bathroom was completely spotless too—we really loved the fancy marble-effect walls and funky blue tiles in the shower, and having the big bottles of Dove soap right on the wall was such a nice, convenient touch. Overall, it was a bright, modern, and super comfortable base camp for our trip!
Okay the room wasn’t the best cleaned i must say. Because there was a contact lens trash on the bathroom floor. But overall it was a good hotel for its price. Breakfast is normally better at double tree hotels with jam in little canned glass which is better quality but this hotel lacked it. Other than that the location is definitely something to be kept in mind. It takes approximately 50 minutes to go to the center with m1 or t1 bus. But on a Sunday those busses run on either 20 or 30 min intervals so it’s quite a bit of a hassle. I didnt try the pool or the gym but they looked good i must say. What i also found a bit annoying is that i got my room at exactly 3pm.. it wasn’t ready before but it’s a luck issue.
The linen had marks on and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting actually just the shower grime all around the sides I emailed the village hotel I booked 2 rooms and both showers where the same I couldn’t get the coffee machine to work asked and waited for someone to come and no one came I ordered breakfast was so dissatisfied no fresh fruit no fresh fruit drinks just carton juice which tasted disgusting I don’t eat pork so I was limited to what I could eat and there was children handling the bread with no adults so toast was off I paid £12.50 for hash brown egg and beans
