The checking in process is not smooth. The receptionist cannot find my booking after 15mins intermittently switching services to other customers and managed found my booking later. Told me it needed 20mins to clean the room up and issued the room cards to us. After 25mins, we went up to the room, and nothing cleaned, including the quilt covers which were not replaced. Meanwhile we found the yellow spots from sweating on the pillow insert which made me feel uncomfortable. It is a hygiene concern to me. So if asked the hotel to get a clean one for me. The hotel has a very high rating. I seriously doubt this is a fake one. As the treat on the swearing spots on pillow insert does not match this hotel stars rating . Anyway, guys if you book this hotel, Please check your pillow insert next time.
Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.
