酒店一看就是基於一個老房子而建，平心而論很有特色，白天在酒店中一些角落都很出片，但缺點也很明顯，首先屋內照明不足，特別是晚上就着昏暗的燈光感覺整體都很陳舊，看上去不夠乾淨衞生，但是考慮到價格還是比較划算

前台提供了一間已有人入住的房間，深夜23:00我們辦完入住打開房門已有一位中年男士在床上入睡，那位男士受到了驚嚇並且十分生氣，同樣的，我們也非常的驚嚇並且感覺十分尷尬。對於這樣的誤會，前台僅向該男士表達了歉意，並未對我們道歉。 更換房間後，我們的雙床房被換成了大床房。酒店並未對此作出解釋，由於夜深，我們放棄了換床休息了。 房間內有黴味，和一瓶喝完的礦泉水瓶，並沒有打掃乾淨。早餐時餐廳有很多蒼蠅亂飛。 對於此次住宿經歷，我感到十分不滿。

預訂時不知道是華人酒店，到達酒店，見到老闆是華人真是意外驚喜，老闆熱情周到。預訂的雙人間，沒想到還有客廳，設施用具齊全的廚房，乾濕分離的獨立衞生間。酒店還自備餐廳，一日三餐可以任意選擇美味可口的當地餐或中餐。特別是女主人主動幫我們合理安排日程，聯繫司機，談好價格。非常滿意的一次旅遊感受。

ทำเลดีเยี่ยมมาก ประทับใจที่ได้ชมโบราณวัตถุเก่าแก่ที่จัดแสดงอย่างดี และได้อ่านเรื่องราวประวัติศาสตร์กว่า 500 ปีของสถานที่แห่งนี้ ผู้คนน่ารักมาก ห้องพักสะดวกสบายและเงียบสงบ ห้องน้ำทันสมัยและสะอาด จะกลับมาพักที่นี่อีกแน่นอน

Utterly enchanting- from our 5am arrival until our departure 3 days later we were looked after so incredibly well. The hotel organised our airport pickup and opened up with a gentle tap (you may need help to find it as it’s in the narrow streets of old Stonetown). The front of house was superb and Peter took care of us. The hotel has so much atmosphere, full of antiques and lush vegetation. Breakfast is in the roof balcony. Excursions can be organised. I had read a few unpleasant reviews but I can’t think why, cleanliness was first class and the hospitality was outstanding. I hope you are lucky enough to find a room - we stayed 3 nights it was so good.

Wir hatten einen frühen Flug und konnten deshalb nicht um 6.30 Uhr frühstücken. Das versprochene Lunchpaket wurde nicht eingehalten, weil niemand um 6.45 Uhr an der Rezeption war. Wir mussten die verschlosse Haustür öffnen, um das Hotel zu verlassen, da niemand anwesend war zum Auschecken und Öffnen der Tür.

I stayed at this hotel upon arrival and departure from Zanzibar. The first time it was a short and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, during my second stay I was upgraded to room 301, which is large and overlooks the swimming pool, but it needs maintenance, especially the bathroom, which needs immediate maintenance. It is a very noisy room, as you can hear the sounds of the elevator and the water pump. The furniture is luxurious, but old and needs to be upgraded. The location is excellent, overlooking the port, but the entrance to the hotel is on a potholed street. The staff is friendly and respectful.
