I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable visit, though unfortunately, there was a stain on my pillow when I checked in. Navigating the hotel with suitcases was also terribly inconvenient; my room was on the third floor, but access was poor, even with the elevator. The staff were unhelpful—no one greets you when you walk in. They are busy with ”more important” things, like pretending to work at their computer screens. The service was nonexistent. There was a small gym where you could get a basic workout in. The room had a great shower with good water pressure and clean water. Location-wise, you can even walk to Tesco. To get to the airport, you need to order a taxi or take the bus—it’s just a one-stop ride.

Terrible attitude from the front desk staff. The clerk managed to mix up the rooms allocated to our party and then, rather arrogantly, blamed us for swapping rooms, when in reality I had to change rooms because the heater in the original room was not working. I even apologised in case there had been any misunderstanding after a long journey, but instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, she replied that she was also tired. To make matters worse, it later became clear that the confusion stemmed from the room allocation system itself, with room numbers being noted on a piece of paper with handwritten markings. If it had not been for the other member of staff, who remained calm, understanding, and helpful throughout, I would have packed my belongings and left immediately. This is simply not the right way to treat paying guests. Customer service should focus on resolving problems, not shifting blame. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression of what could otherwise have been a pleasant stay

Stayed on the top floor in a single room. Overall it was a great stay, but a few minor improvements would make the experience so much better. One of the balcony doors had trapped condensation in between the double glazing, would be good if that was sorted out. The blind on the same door was damaged. There was a slightly weird smell in the room. A diffuser would probably sort that out. The remote controls for the tv’s were missing and the inside of microwave wasn’t cleaned properly. There was also no key for the balcony door so couldn’t lock it. I wasn’t really worried about it because the balcony isn’t accessible without someone spidermaning it up the outside walls. However, the hotel is a lovely building in a pretty countryside area. The young woman on reception was lovely - give her a pay rise! Would probably stay again.

As soon as I arrived I felt completely at ease. Parking was plentiful and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. My room was lovely. Light and airy with everything I needed for my stay plus a very comfortable bed. I actually felt a little sad when I left in the morning. I’d had a very hectic few days previously and my mini stay helped me to unwind and relax.

Lovely staff but very disapointed at no soft close on room doors so lots of loud banging from about 06.00 Hot water tap in the sink didn't work - video proof if needed - and loud commercial vehicles outside reversing til very late and early morning. The windows were truly filthy. Lastly, despite complimentary breakfast they can't cater for Gluten Free medical needs and I couldn't purchase alternative.

A really lovely hotel and country club which is tucked away in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex. The driveway is a wonderful welcome with all the purple rhododendrons in bloom. The decor of the entire hotel was contemporary mixed with tradition - loved it. We had amazing service which made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a family room within the hotel with an amazing view of the golf course (9th tee) - it was perfect; beautiful interior, comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, great balcony, tea/coffee and biscuits and lovely toiletries. It had a lovely country cosy feel to the room and the entirety of the hotel. The service in the restaurant was brilliant and super friendly and the breakfast was superb - the perfect amount of choices. The view from restaurant was brilliant, the first tee! We used the health club in particular the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The changing rooms and showers were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the family cat 😊. The only slight down side was the swimming pool closed at 5:30pm for children. The golf pros in the golf shop were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised how lovely this hotel was after booking very last minute, it was very reasonable and we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Absolutely awesome location! The rooms are located on floors 5 to 8, accessible by lifts located close to the airport security screening area. It could not be more convenient 😃 The rooms are comfortable and offer a choice of lighting from bright lights to gentle colour. Great heating/air conditioning system. Shower room is a wet room and the shower was wonderful (it has incredible water pressure 🚿 😍) . Everything was spotlessly clean. 😇 TV with good choice of programmes. 📺 🥰 Check in was so easy! I just tapped the link on the email, which led me to an app advising me of the room number. 🚪When I arrived outside the room I simply opened the app, tapped to confirm I was there and the door automatically opened. This would prove difficult for someone not accustomed to using apps or without a compatible phone, but I saw a computer screen near the lifts to assist with checking in (obviously there to assist guests who might have issues with their phones) I’d definitely stay here again. Was very impressed overall 😁
