The hotel was decent and neat. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The kitchen closes early so if you’d like dinner, plan ahead.

Complaint about the cleanliness of my room at B&B Hotel I would like to make a complaint regarding the cleanliness and housekeeping standards of my room at your B&B Hotel. After the room had supposedly been cleaned, I noticed that the bed linen had not been changed. There were still visible stains on the bed sheet, and I also found several hairs on the bed. This gave me the clear impression that the bedding had not been replaced before my stay, which is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene. From what I could see, the only cleaning that had been done was vacuuming the floor, cleaning the sink, and wiping the table. However, the most important part of preparing the room for a new guest – providing clean, freshly changed bed linen – was not done. I have attached photos showing the stains on the bed sheet and the hairs left on the bedding. These clearly demonstrate the poor standard of cleanliness in the room. I am very disappointed with this experience, as it does not meet the level of cleanliness and hygiene that guests should reasonably expect from a hotel. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the bed linen was not changed and would like this matter to be investigated and resolved appropriately. I look forward to your response.

Our deluxe room overlooked the beautifully kept gardens, and the interiors — especially the Colefax & Fowler fabrics — felt timeless and elegant. The bathroom was enormous, almost larger than the bedroom, and the whole property is filled with classic equestrian art and heritage charm. We enjoyed champagne in the private members’ bar, a rare privilege for overnight guests, and breakfast was exceptional — from eggs Benedict to eggs Royal, kippers, pancakes and more, all served in a grand dining room. Easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The atmosphere is old‑world English tradition at surprisingly accessible prices, with free parking and a perfect High Street location. Ideal for visiting Cambridge or Suffolk — and we loved being able to stroll to Thai Kitchen for dinner. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, history, and understated luxury - all for the price of a room in the Premier inn!

This is the second time we have stayed here and the location is beautiful. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was very slow and the young staff members seem to be more interested in chatting around the bar area. My wife was keen to use the spa facilities included in the price but the sauna was closed, the steam room and jacuzzi were full, as was the pool. Not as good as the first time we stayed 16 months ago, which was disappointing, but the surroundings were still lovely.

The hotel is in a beautiful location right by the seafront with a lovely patio overlooking the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it felt like they genuinely cared. This included the reception staff, the bar staff and the staff serving the breakfast each morning. The food selection was varied and the hot cooked breakfast was of good quality. The room was clean and comfortable, a fan was provided during the hot weather. When we arrived late at night, the car park was already full, however we were allowed to park our large touring bike right in front of the hotel where it was safe and well lit. We will definitely come back.

I stayed here i enjoyed this stay. I did boil the ketrle.and that just before leaving . Dr otteker i added as the water cam be dubiiois .the demand for this water is high so i add a cleaner and i passed the water via a brita style filter . Its nice for comlan. The riom is cold fpr.me this is super i need cold as heat can might may be bad news? So thr electruc stpped Hmm Then it seems the kettle was not on a trip circuit tp syop a nlown fuse in the plug of thr ketyel it been a notmality to have a kettel over flow. I diid not shower as i found the amount of wayer is difficult to.keep many areas as this in constant sypply I neede dot be hydrated if i wash that does not happen ..and i spebt two.days readdresi g g this need .. Advjce tp all hotels.os hav3 a ketgle.with glass hwrer the customer sees the water is dirty or clean..it.is.a.beyyer sytem.not.rto be too.well.its water . ?

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely breakfast and lots of choice. Pool was great too! Staff were so kind to my young toddler son he loved staying there!!

I had a great stay at Novotel Ipswich Centre and felt it offered excellent value for money. The hotel is in a convenient location, within easy walking distance of the town centre and waterfront, making it an ideal base for exploring Ipswich. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made the check-in and check-out process quick and easy. What stood out most was the reasonable price. Considering the quality of the accommodation, the service, and the central location, I thought it represented very good value. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel in Ipswich.
